I think the IAD remodel is the next airport. I don’t think we have any news on the next airport as of yet. Correct me if I’m wrong.

A partnership with Buffalo Airlines is in the works so many think yellow knife is on the roadmap, but the next airport is not confirmed to be anything yet

Probably an south American airport
Id love to see either Guarulhos Airport or Geleão airport, both have two runways and look like they would have a fun layout

The first thing to consider is fixing bugs and renovating the model .
Developers have been moving forward according to their own standards, we just need to be patient and wait.

Yellowknife all but confirmed as being among the next in lineup. IAD too, and then after that likely a South American or African airport

I am going try to use words of less than 1 syllable to make it clear to everyone.
No official word on next update has been given by the devs. Anything else is pure speculation and needs to be treated as such.
High probability of coming sooner rather than later: IAD rework, new UI and 777.
Medium probability: new airport, and other aircraft models they are reworking. South America has been mentioned but not confirmed
They have also teased other stuff that may or may not appear. Like Yellowknife, new in flight view or alliances
Right now, none of the above has been confirmed as the next update and even that might be superseded by bug fixes etc.
So to be absolutely 100% clear. Not one thing has been confirmed or guaranteed to be the next update. And this type of thing is exactly why the devs will not or should not say anything but guidance which in reality what the Q&A and live streams are unless it’s a specific launch like BKK was

I am hopeful it’s a small airport… between LHR, SYD, and BKK, I’m definitely wanting something a bit more quaint for the variety of it. But… as Carl mentioned above, nothing is confirmed, so we will all have to wait in suspense!

I think the developer of world of airports will add the new airport in Luanda , Angola🇦🇴

But it will open next year 
That has nothing to do with it. Devs are picking strategic airports and they take quite a while to complete. Are we likely to get one in Africa soon. Yes it’s overdue. But it’s more likely to be something like ADD or CPT or JNB to be honest.

Oh my mistake
Welcome to suggest as a destination from say MCT or possibly LHR as Taag is in the game, in the appropriate thread. But as a playable airport highly unlikely

However, that’s not to say they won’t eventually add it as a destination you can get contracts for and send planes too, but like Carlsberg said, unlikely as a playable airport.
