Can anyone explain to me how the new demand system works after 3.6.0 (specifically when configuring aircraft and about how to avoide making routes that are not profitable)?

Knowledge base is meant to be a soft component of the wiki, like an FAQ. I think people are still not 100% sure how it works yet, but geo and others are working on it probably.
From what I have seen, as long as the plane has enough range and the demands are not too far off, you’ll be able to create the connection. Previous pairs that were not possible due to the negative profit are now possible (e.g. B748F HKG-SYD). The figures under “Profit per roundtrip” also cannot be both red. I think the 1st number is the normal profit shown in-game, while the 2nd figure is the maximum gross profit for the flight.
So the first number is what we were seeing before? that number really used to throw me off because it was always inaccurate. I think the second number is the more accurate one I believe, (if I am correct).
Yes, the 1st one is the same as what has always been there. The second one I now don’t know where it came from. At first I thought it was the max gross revenue since it’s close to what you actually get per flight, but when I was sending the A332F from ZRH to IAD it showed 27k lol
I’m told that that second number is raw profit, which can reach up to 50k, although I don’t know if that’s true.
