Revisiting this idea now that the new economy factors in the efficiency of an aircraft, it’s something which would be great to see going forward! Means you can split aircraft into different sub-fleets for say, long, short or medium haul flights!
Also I’d very much like to have some 757s with and without winglets, same for a few 737-800s without winglets

Quick idea for a potential feature.
As aircraft gets older and older overtime, some dirt/residue should accumulate.
Each new contract starts with a spotless new plane, and as the plane follows the contract, you can see it slowly get dirtier.
For example, if I am at IAD. A United 789 AI contract to New York (for example) can be purchased more than one time. However, each new purchase gives the player a brand new aircraft. The way that the plane can be re-maintained is not done by the player, but is automatically cleaned maybe after every 15 flights.

Function to assign specific airlines to specific stands?
A bit of context and I know this might sound a bit nitpicky but I kind of like to send airlines to their real life terminals in this game. So like I send all my BA contracts to LHR Terminal 5, or I send all the Southwest contracts to SAN Terminal 1, etc.
So right now the game gives us the ability to automatically assign planes to stands if we use the control tower function enabled but it assigns the landing queue according to the next available stand. Which means planes from certain airlines get sent to terminals that they normally won’t be sent to in real life. So in the end, I usually only end up using the approach, departure and ground tower controller. I was wondering if it’s possible to have a function that lets us assign contracts to specific stands in tandem with the delivery tower automation ability. For example the tower function will automatically assign contracts A B and C to Stand 101, contracts D E F to Stand 102, and contracts X Y Z to stand 103, etc.

Exactly my feeling! If I’d known from the start I wouldn’t have purchased them, because now I only use Southwest over there (like IRL), but I’m constantly bugged for them as open gates for my S contracts even though I don’t want to use them.

When handling aircraft, make it so that we can hold down the +handler button instead of tapping it so many times. *I know im lazy but im sure other ppl want this to

It would be cool to be able to filter in both your own fleet and the contracts where the planes are. So for example in the picture I am in LEJ. So a filter could be planes in LEJ and ready to land together and then also 1 that is for inbound flights. And a third one for planes going to another airport and at another airport. This way it’s easier to know where the player connection planes are

I think it would be nice to get a small refund for cancelled contracts. This amount could be 33% or 50% of the original purchase price. For example, cancelling an Emirates a380 I bought for 45,0000 returns me 22,500 wollars.

An IAD rework would also be incredible.
Currently, not only are the gates very outdated, but their placement at perfectly 90 degrees makes the airport feel very unnatural. Also, the two terminal buildings should have their respective M, S, and L stands matching the similar layout in real life. I think the devs are now able to place gates and stands at an angle, greatly elevating the game experience.
Additionally, the distant stands that do not have terminal gates should also be expanded upon and maybe add a couple more view-point angles for plane spotting or just standard camera angles.

This is on the to-do list already and I would expect it reasonably soon, because it was first teased in I think late august, and IAD has such an old model

Will they also change the stands? I was under the impression they only would make it look better (similar to INN and BRI)

Beautiful graphics and congratulations to you developers.
Based on my experience in the game I would like to ask you some additions please:

Decision, based on the direction of the wind, to choose on which side of the runway to land a plane and decision on the route to follow (connection A - B - C) to continue towards the parking area.

Choose the degree of maneuver for the pushback. Make sure to better control air traffic at the airport and add a stop button to confirm a maneuver stop for a particular aircraft to ensure it does not crash into other aircraft. E.g. start of pushback maneuver with another aircraft transiting behind. So as to make the game a little less point and click. (possibly certain mistakes will impact the satisfaction scale)

Decision on the best possible route (connection) for the alignment of the runway before the take off and the choice of the latter (runway) always based on the direction of the wind.

Just started playing LHR and I have to say its been a wonderful experience so far. Wanted to just give a sincere Thank you to all of the hard work by the developers. However, I have a couple of small suggestions and feedback for the LHR gameplay.
- Better level rewards: Despite it being the best airport in the game, it’s “free” level pass rewards just don’t give it justice. I wouldn’t say it is nessesaily the worst level up rewards, but it certainly could be much more generous and exiting for such an incredible airport. (Yes, I understand the factor of an easier unlock from SXM inclines the devs to tone down the craziness a bit, but its really underselling the great experience)
_ What I would do is make all of the wollar awards 10,000 instead of 5,000, Give x2 L contracts (BA & Virgin) off the bat or like level 10 ish, and switch the 500 sp at level 6 for an a330 fleet aircraft, etc.
A problem that I find is that during the early stages of an airport, the biggest challenge for free players is getting enough wollars for equipment, gates, etc.
Selling contracts for $$ - I think lots of players would rather exchange the contracts given at level unlocks for wollars, especially at the eatly stage. I find myself selling the a220 for example at level 4 just to get maybe 35,000 wollars in exchange. Instead, when a contract is cancelled, some amount of wollars should be given to the player.
- S contract = 1,000$ wollars
- M contract = 5,000$ wollars
- L contract = 12,000$ wollars
- X contract = 20,000$ wollars (sorry but no one wants the aviation daily a380😂)
This is just an idea of course!

LHR Suggestion:
Add HSBC designs to the Jetway models.
Also, I know that the devs are working on double Jetways for L and X, I wanted to add that 1/4 of L stands still remain with 1 Jetbridge. lots of L planes will board from the second door with a single jetway.

IAD Rework Suggestions
Since it is on the horizon (I strongly hope before the next airport) here are some things that could be added
New terminal:
IAD is beginning construction on a new terminal, that could be added as an option in the construction menu. Adds about 20 or so stands:
And if the devs really want to go all-out, they could give us the option to construct it according to the 2030 plan: which adds a full terminal as well as an extension between the Z/B concourses
This isn’t unprecedented either, since both MCT and SAN already have the option to build nonexistent/misrepresented terminals.
Four Active Runways:
Ok, I know you’ve probably heard this before, so before you run away, hear me out…
Like the terminal, they can add an option to construct additional runways, and since IAD was planned to have weather based runway selection (as far as I understand), the player can select, activate, and deactivate different runways.
Terminal Layout
The current terminal layout is incorrect, it’s missing multiple gates, and the stand arrangement is far too symmetrical.
Terminal A/B should have M stands in addition to L/X. Terminal C/D should have S and some L stands in addition to the M stands. The S side of the A/B terminal should fit 5 stands to a pier instead of 3. There’s also some overnight parking stands that are missing.

Some of them, but a lot of them are missing. I wish we could actually use them for parking but that’s a separate feature.
Perhaps for our fleet planes when doing maintenance or when waiting for a contract

I really want to see the ability to have 5 S planes at each pier like it is IRL. Especially with how nice CRJs are for player connections to SXM and E175s are to SAN, I’d love to be able to send 10 to SAN and 20 to SXM as opposed to the current 6 and 12
