New Game Features

The weather in the game is based off of live weather, not based off the location of the airports. This point would be valid only if MCT airport does indeed have sandstorms.

Indeed it is, itā€™s using the METAR system with a 1 hour delay. That is unless the devs get some confused code from them and it snows in SXM

757 boarding door changes

In game the 757 currently uses the front and rear doors. My suggestion is to change the stair and jetway positions to the L2 door, which is common for 757, and in fact most of the widebody aircraft in game as well. The 2 757s in the photo below both have the jetways attached to the L2 door, and when using stairs itā€™s common to see the L2 and rear most doors being used.

Remember that it is a game and it will not always be done almost in real life, perhaps technical details are what cause the front and back doors to be used in the game currently. Does not affect in no way the gameplay.

Itā€™s a suggestions thread, I can make suggestions as itā€™s something which can be considered for the future, a QOL improvement so to speak to make things look more realistic, especially considering itā€™s a game centred around airport operations and handling.

It is a mobile game, it will not undergo many improvements What the companion suggests can only be done on PC and here on mobile yes, but removing some functionalities from the game.

Moving the door position does absolutely nothing to the functionality of the game, as I said itā€™s a quality of life improvement to be true to life to how 757s are normally handled.

Canging the boarding door on some planes (cause while they do the 757, might as well do it on L planes too) would be the same as like changing the buses, or making it so that some stands just board directly to the terminal. Or making L planes use two jetways. But then again that would remove functionality.

OH WAIT, theyā€™ve done all that.

Iā€™m pretty sure changing the boarding door for single jetway stands would require changing maybe one line of code.

Maybe quit gatekeeping the game bud

Landing priority
As of now the planes vacate at the exit closest to their gate instead of using the earliest possible exit. Many have voiced their complaints about the decreased throughput of arrivals.

My idea is to add a landing priority button when using the approach ATC. The player can choose between short taxi and short landing.
Short taxi will assign landing planes the exit closest to their gate (like rn)
In contrast short landing will assign landing planes the shortest runway exit.

Make it really optional not to force parking minigame, when you switch off since thereā€™s still some bugs,

Elaborate? Sorry I donā€™t understand lol

Okay so,

But I tested thereā€™s still some issue in PRG

There is an issue where you turn off mini game and some gates (not all gates) still forced you play parking mini game like Bariā€™s 311, so, with parking mini game still got bugs, please let it be optional and not force when we turn off the mini game.

Ah ok ty

A Suggestion: Request For Taxi as an option after landing and pushback.

Contractors
In the world of aviation itā€™s not unusual for airlines to operate a route for another airline. My suggestion is to add contractors which offer you to fly a route for them.
You can find offers on the map when assigning a route for your own aircraft (see pictures 1 and 3). The routes will be marked in a color of the devs choice (I used green but any color goes).
Before accepting an offer the player can see the specific requirements and rewards of the contractor (see pictures 2 and 4). Furthermore demand will increase on the route becuase you fly for the airline instead of competing against it.
If the player stays loyal to a contractor and operates with them for an extended period of time the player is rewarded better rewards which can range all the way to a special livery (see picture 5).
As the player increases his levels the amount of offers as well as their rewards will increase. However the offers will get more difficult as well with the contractors giving stricter and more difficult requirements for the rewards (see picture 4).

Austrian airlines 787, Austral airlines 787, iraqi A220, dubrovnik as destination!

Keep the setting of ATC Features after resetting the game.I usually play with ATC assistances except for delivery, so i usually turn it on while no plane is approaching, then keep it paused. I play the game in LHR and i want it to be as real as possible like T2 is for Star Alliance and non-alliant airliner, T3 is for One World Alliance, Delta and Virgin, T4 is for SkyTeam Alliance and T5 is for my fleet, British Airways and Iberia. The Delivery always mess things ups and itā€™s really annoying, Please add in the feature

Why Tacoma Seattle Airport is a Delta Hub and no Delta Airline there, Please add in Delta at Seattle

Thanks !

I propose Choose your contract.

Today when you start a contract with another player you need 10 handles before you see any XP and SP.

Some player Contracts die before 10.

I propose when you send the plane you can choose the contract level, say A, B or C.
A pays out at 5 handles
B pays out at 10 handles
C pays out at 20 handles

Low risk (A) means low reward. High risk (C) means high reward.

This would strengthen alliances as you are able to reach 20.

Would also help casual players where reaching 5 is takes a whole week.

Most importantly it communicates your expectations to the other player.

Hi! Iā€™ve returned to the game after not playing for a few years, and Iā€™m really liking the new contract system, and just overall most improvements compared to the previous version. Makes making connections with both players and non-player destinations so much more interesting and enjoyable, so thank you for that. Also the new airport progression system is pretty cool, made me actually wish I could reset my progress and start from scratch, like you used to. Even without it Iā€™ve been having a lot of fun playing over the past few weeks, revisiting all the old airports and exploring a new one. And over this time Iā€™ve come up with a few thoughts that I think can improve the geame even more.

Woapedia
Woapedia is a pretty cool feature that enhances the overall progression. I really feel like I ā€œwanna catch em allā€. One small issue I have is that itā€™s annoying having to go out to the main menu and looking up whether I already have or donā€™t have a particular livery in my collection. It would be great if you coud put an icon on the potential contract offer that said ā€œhey, you still donā€™t have this livery, so you might be interested in this contract!ā€ And on the same note, when browsing the actual Woapedia itself it would be cool to have some indicator that I have completed a particular collection (aircraft types or airlines). I know it already says something like ā€œ0/5ā€ or ā€œ3/3ā€ but with so many collections to scroll through it doesnā€™t stand out at all.

Player connections
Speaking of things standing out, sometimes when I donā€™t have much time to service all my aircraft at an airport, I would like to just quickly deal with my connections to other players. But it can be hard to spot them among all the possible arrivals when you have a lot of contracts. I wish you would mark the player contracts with a special icon or give it a different colour so that I could quickly, at a glance, see which of the arrivals to service first - both othersā€™ planes and my own that are connected to real people.

INN airport
One thing that slows down the traffic flow at Innsbruck is that M planes have to backtrack to the beginning of the runway. However, some M planes should be able to utilise the short takeoff without needing to backtrack. Both Embraer E190 and Airbus A220-100 (BCS1) have the takeoff specs that should allow them to do a short takeoff from Innsbruck, and A318 famously operated from London City whose entire runway is shorter than INNā€™s short takeoff distance. Allowing those planes to take off that way would be a good way to specialise that airport into M planes and give those planes a niche, because otherwise there isnā€™t really much sense of ever using E190.

IAD airport
In all airports except this one you can clear planes for landing just before the previous plane exits the runway. In IAD, however, you have to wait for quite a while, maybe almost 10 seconds, as they leave the runway and cross the red stop line, and only then are you allowed to clear the next plane. Combined with a long-ish final approach, that slows down the traffic quite severely. I have over a hundred stands available, but I can never be servicing more than 10-15 planes simultaneously because the arrivals are just too slow. If you could bring the landing clearance timing in line with all the other airports in the game, it would speed up the game and make the airports look more full, which is always nice to see.

MCT airport
Iā€™m sure someone else must have already pointed this out, but S and M airplanes that are assinged stands in the 1xx, 2xx, 3xx and 7xx range (southern half of the airport closer to the departure runway) taxi all the way down the runway before exiting at the same spot where L planes do, instead of leaving early and allowing you to land more planes. If you allow them to exit early (like planes going to stands 4xx or 6xx already do), that would speed up the arrivals and that would be pretty good.

SXM airport
Love this little airport, but itā€™s just so annoyingly slow because of so much backtracking. Is there no way to maybe at least speed up the planes taxing back up the runway? Just a little bit?

So these are my thoughts on the game. I hope someone reads them and takes them under consideration. Thanks for your time and for the great game!
