SAN I think could wait until a remodel. I know they’ve said they won’t, but given the new terminal and TERRIBLE inaccuracy of current gates and cargo stands, I think it’s right up there with IAD in terms of needing a remodel. But those NGO jetways, uff, they haunt me in my dreams. Couldn’t do more to ruin the immersion at an otherwise pretty nice NGO.

What if there was a new feature about changing the direction of aircraft arrival?
Like the change of weather, day to night
Because at some airports the plane is too far to reach the gate.
And for Sydney maybe have 2 runways for arrivals
Devs say they have no plans to give syd the second runway arrivals
I mean who knows their plan could change in the future(for example it took muscat 3 years to get it)
Plans can change at any time, you can’t guess👀
Hope the devs can add this, normally when you assign a flight to one of the stands, the status on the contract will change from Ready to Land to At BKK (for example), could the devs add landed or still in air in the status?
I think that when the passengers are boarding the plane, the devs could add in some children. I have noticed that only adults are boarding the planes
Maybe they could also dress them accordingly to the weather.
I am sure that I cannot be the only player that would love to see the ability to “reset” stands??? After playing an airport, you see how the flow would be better if the size aircraft on stands could be changed. Please please please make is a possibility…
Ability of cancelling assigned gate
Sometimes might we mistakenly pressed a wrong gate for the aircraft. However, for now there’s no way we can take back that decision so it will be better for allowing players to cancel it before the plane land
I believe the devs have mentioned this in the q&a that it will either come with the IAD remodel or the UI update.
Note: I am not claiming it’s coming 100% or that the devs confirmed this. But I think there is a change these feature will be included in 1 of these updates I mentioned
Maybe the planes could arrive from far away and you would navigate them to the runway.
A feature at larger airports to assign planes/routes to certain terminals would be amazing. The option could be any terminal or a designated terminal or even allow players to make customize group numbers with the gates.
This would be a really nice feature for the large airports. So e.g. in SYD a domestic L will only land if one of the two L stands at domestic terminal is available.
They could also make it a bit more realistic by making the gates automatically assigned to the aircrafts instead of the player doing that. I mean as far as I know IRL the pilots have a specific gate to which they have to go to and not one that they get assigned to.
That’s kind of lazy tbh.
Plus you’re not playing the role of a pilot, you’re handling airport operations and they assign gates daily to airlines and it’s usually not the same gates over and over again. Maybe designate a specific terminal would be a better option.
So Flyboys and WOA made this reel and i really want there to be an option where we can have handlers do everything and we can just watch the airport run like this video, like it would be so fun to watch any airport with this type of video.
