We’ve introduced a new way to secure and transfer your progress.
If linking via Apple Game Center or Google Play Games does not work properly, you can now use a Gmail address as a carrier for your World of Airports profile.
This gives you an additional safe way to protect and move your progress.
When Should You Use Gmail Linking?
You may use this option if:
- Game Center linking fails
- Google Play Games linking fails
- You are preparing for cross-platform migration
- You want an additional recovery method
Your progress remains safely stored on our servers — this only changes how it is linked.
Important: Use the Correct Menu
To link your profile to a Gmail address, do NOT use the small “Link Account” icon next to your name in the Main Menu.
That button is for Game Center / Play Games only.
Instead, you must use the Cross-Platform Migration menu.
Correct Steps to Link via Gmail
- Open Settings > Profile
- Go to Cross-Platform Migration
- Select Add this profile to another platform
- Choose the Linking with a Google account
- Do NOT select Game Center
- Do NOT select Google Play Games
- Follow the confirmation steps
Once completed, your profile will be linked to the selected Gmail address.
What This Does (and Doesn’t Do)
Links your current profile to a Gmail address
Allows it to be used as a secure transfer carrier
Helps recover your progress if platform login fails
Does not enable simultaneous play on multiple platforms
Does not transfer platform achievements
Final Notes
- Make sure you are inside the correct profile before starting the migration.
- Double-check the Gmail address before confirming.
- If something looks wrong, contact support before attempting again.
This feature is designed to make profile protection and transfers more reliable.
