Max Air operated 5 Boeing 747-300, with both aircrafts, 5N-DDK & 5N-BMG entering service in July 2009 and August 2009 respectively after Japan Airlines had retired the aircraft from their fleet. Max Air operated these aircrafts on special charter flights like Hajj pilgrimages up until 2013 for 5N-DDK and 2015 for 5N-BMG after they were withdrew from service and in storage.
