The above photo is from June, seems several are still flying in the old livery which was changed in 2015. Plus, this one has the yellow wifi dome which is now a feature of all of these yet to be painted A320s.
Why should this livery be added?
The original livery that Spirit Airlines operated under before changing to the luminescent yellow livery they have now. This would be great to have as a regular contract as players then have the option as to which livery they wish to use, or to make it realistic and have one of these snuck into the sea of yellow, as it is irl at Spirit bases such as ATL or ORD.
I second this. I flew on N635NK with the yellow Wi-Fi dome back in January of this year. The actual name of this livery is “Birthday Cake” and is still in use with six aircraft. It is also referred to as the “Skittles” livery.
Lol hope they serve skiddles (I haven’t flown any airlines from the USA so I haven’t been on spirit… sorry if I said something stupid about spirit I know nothing about them lol) and the wifi dome? Does spirit have wifi now?
Do you happen to know anything about the A321s only wearing the silver livery and never this, whereas the A320s were only in this one? Because the A319s wore both before the modern livery. Thanks pal.
I believe none of the Airbus A321s in the old grayscale pixel livery (beautiful livery, I miss it) were ever changed to the current yellow “bare fare” livery or even the old birthday cake livery.
As far as I know, there were six, and the tail numbers were N583NK through N588NK.
N583NK, leased until ???, went to Jetstar Airways in 2008
N584NK, leased until ???, also went to Jetstar Airways in 2008
N585NK, leased until 2007, went to Niki Airlines
N586NK, leased until 2008, went to Monarch Airlines
