Why should this livery be added?
So this is a cool one, when Spirit ordered Airbus’ to replace their MD-80 fleet, they originally ordered A321’s with A319’s and then A320’s to follow later. As the A321’s were being produced in Hamburg, the airline decided to switch their livery to the silver pixel livery to showcase a more premium brand but N586NK was already too far along the production line.It was the third to be delivered in quick succession at the end of 2004 and the first new aircraft as the 2 before it were ex-Ryan International Airlines and Aero Lloyd aircraft. It was the only one to wear this white livery, doing so until it was transferred to Monarch Airlines in 2008 from where it continued flying until 2017 and Monarch’s collapse. It then flew with Lanmei Airlines until 2023 when it was retired and sent to St Athan for scrapping.
It would be a special bit of history for Spirit and could make for a cool alternative livery for players if they wished or it could make for a special but I think it’d be quite the boring special livery personally so best as a regular alternative.
