This above image was one diverted from LAX to LAS due to fog, being parked at the pax terminal with a jetway. Thought that was cool.
N639US above operated for Delta til retirement on 27/12/09 the third final aircraft and never repainted.
Why should this livery be added?
Related to the final livery post, some of these 747s were never repainted, continuing to wear this livery in Delta service with N639US wearing it til the end. It would be a second livery that Northwest Cargo could fly with, one which as can be seen above, was a frequent visitor to HKG and thus would be fantastic to mix into a lineup of Northwest aircraft at the airport.
