Yes, the 757 is one of the last planes that still has the v1 model. While it’s not the top priority right now, eventually, all models should be updated (at least from the v1s).

Finally the 757 is getting a remodel meaning we can say goodbye to that current and (in my opinion ugly) old 757 model.

It’s like comparing Flight Sim 2004 to 2024 – the plane was created within the limits of the technology available back then, and also limited by my skills at the time.

I saw some airplane models in progress today, and they look just marvellous. It’s incredible what kind of detail and visuals we can achieve with new technologies, especially considering we’re still playing on devices that are only 5mm thin and not on full gaming rigs.

I grew up with games like F-22 Retaliator, Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe, Dawn Patrol, and similar titles, so it amazes me every single time to see how far we’ve come.

Looking into the future, I can imagine putting on AR glasses and seeing a Boeing flying from my bedroom and landing on the desk in the living room, where PRG or SCL airports are placed. It would be like a mini model railway landscape, but in a virtual environment you can take with you wherever you go.

:sparkles::airplane:

This is just my personal opinion and does not suggest any future development plans for WoA. It’s simply an idea of how we could potentially utilize AR for WoA in the future.
