Title Format (required):
Basic /2D graphics only mode or separate app with this only.
Other – for anything not covered by the above (e.g. tutorials, accessibility, languages)
What is your suggestion?
As an owner of mobile device that is aging, with the wonderful improvements in graphics and planes and other content (and the size of airports etc) I am worried that soon my phone will not be able to cope / loading screens are going to be lo–o-ong waits. Is it possible there could be a “light” or 2D only mode or version of the app that doesnt have all the 3D textures & other content?
How would it work in the game?
Option in main settings / separate app in the (various) stores
Why is this a good idea?
Primary benefit: allows people with older devices still to play with a good performance experience (faster load times, lower RAM requirement)Other benefits:
Would likely improve play duration/ engagement - people can play for longer! (battery life improvements as a result of the above..Other minor benefits:
Reduces bandwidth requirements when playing in bad signal / low internet areas for playersOnce developed, there would be little requirement for ongoing changes to be reflected - the 2d content is in the game anyway
?Would it make a low res PC port / Google Play Games for Windows an easier task?
