What is your suggestion?
Decouple permanent Route Contracts from dynamic Airport Slots. Allow active players to unilaterally unbind slots from inactive multiplayer partners (e.g., inactive for >14 days) without destroying the underlying contract asset.
How would it work in the game?
Unilateral Release: If a partner is inactive for over 14 days, a “Release Slot” option becomes available.Asset Protection: Unbinding only clears the dynamic slot allocation. The Route Contract and all funds spent to unlock it remain 100% intact.
Anti-Exploit Clause: Upon triggering a manual unbind, all pending, uncollected, or accrued rewards (Wollars/XP) from the active flight cycle are completely forfeited (0% payout) to prevent player abuse.
Why is this a good idea?
Resolves Deadlocks: Prevents active players’ aircraft from being trapped indefinitely (e.g., Another airport player currently locked for over 70 days) by ghost partners.
Fairer Economy: Stops penalizing the active player. Currently, the only recourse is full Contract Cancellation, which unfairly wipes out permanent assets and spent funds (“Funds spent will not be returned”).
Performance Boost: Separation of concerns reduces heavy multi-table database operations during client profile hydration at login.
