What is your suggestion?
The Dash 8 Q400 is graced with a multitude of different ways to get its passengers on and off the aircraft. It has its own stairs on both the front and rear doors which have been used in the past especially by airlines such as FlyBe. There are also ramps which can substitute the rather silly looking ambulifts, as well as jetways being used for the aircraft.
- Rear door loading for some airlines
- Rear door ramp access instead of ambulift
- Jetway usage by the aircraft
- If using front door, steps are used with some airlines (ANA, Air Canada, the such)
How would it work in the game?
The rear door would have its rear staircase activated or it would have a ramp for accessibility which can also double as ambulift. The front door would have jetway usage.
Why is this a good idea?
More fun and realism for the aircraft type as irl, the Q400 has a weird mix of loading or unloading depending on the airline and airport.

Dash 8-300,
This is at IAD (Jetway attached - I believe it is likely Porter as it’s at the Northern terminal so United’s would be at the lower, this is from 2012),
From 2015 at IAD,
Air Canada jetway boarding,
Alaska,
In SYD, they have these for jetway loading,
Same with this WestJet,
Even the -100/-200/-300 series can use them,
ANA uses these steps,
Air Canada’s little steps,
