easyJet is a large LCC in Europe, especially in the 2000s and early 2010s being the main competitor to Ryanair though that Mantle has been taken over by Wizz as both are ULCC’s unlike EZY.easyJet has a whole host of bases across the continent, mainly in Western and Central Europe, but the majority of these aren’t available in-game the most prominent of which is Naples which has an irl flight to PRG which cannot currently be done.
Another oddity is regarding easyJet Europe which is based at Vienna, yet has no easyJet base, though it would be nice to also see the airline here.
How would it work in the game?
Add the irl bases for EZY as per the bottom image,This same thing applies for Vueling, Volotea and in some cases Ryanair.
Why is this a good idea?
What improvement would this bring?It would bring both increased realism and would also just allow for more choice at airports for routes. I know there’re a lot of calls for the game to be super realistic but running old routes or potential routes is all part of the fun of running your own version of the airport. If I think an EZY flight from Nantes to BRI or PRG is something I’d like, I should be able to do so as it’s an irl base, whereas a random BRI to say Cairo EZY flight would make no sense.

From Wikipedia, all the easyJet UK bases are represented in-game but Lyon, Berlin, Nantes, Paris (Both), Bordeaux (Ryanair is available here even though it left the airport in May 2024) and Palma amongst others are missing,Also included a screenshot from Planespotters of easyJet Europe bases and where they should be able to be acquired from.
Volotea (Missing Asturias, Bilbao, Genoa, Naples, Palermo and Strasbourg),
Vueling (Missing Alicante, Bilbao, Florence, Palma, Santiago de Compostela an IRL route to LHR and Seville),
This can also be applied to some others like Norwegian who are missing a couple of their bases in Spain and Gothenburg.
