[Other] - Landing Gear Retraction Speed

:bullseye: What is your suggestion?

Over the past few years we have seen the Landing Gear system revolutionize to give us the best realistic experience yet. It has changed the whole dynamic of the game.

Speaking from a realistic perspective, the speed of the landing gear retraction is significantly faster than in real life. My suggestion is if it possible to slow down the landing gear retraction/door speed to make it more realistic.

:hammer_and_wrench: How would it work in the game?

It would provide a more overall realistic feel to the landing gear and aircraft experience to start with and then provide a better viewing experience when watching aircraft takeoff.

:balance_scale: Why is this a good idea?

The more realistic the speed of the landing gear movement will further enhance and provide a more realistic feel to an already great game feature. Seeing the level of detail that is going into the game through newer aircraft models, liveries, graphics etc, I feel this feature will give the aircraft models the ultimate edge and provide a better viewing experience when overseeing aircraft departing.

I was going to suggest this in the near future but you beat me to it

Anyway, I agree with what you’ve suggested here, I also feel like the retraction on some aircraft like the A330 or A320 is wayy too fast. There are a couple of planes in game that are better like the E135-145 family and the E170-195 family I think.

I know right. Stuff was literally unplayable before :exploding_head:

This, and the fact that sometimes, landing gears don’t retract at the same time, which could better reflect realism within the game.
