What is your suggestion?
Add more structural vibrations to aircraft parts like horizontal stabilizers and engines
How would it work in the game?
Much how the flaps of newer remodeled aircraft in-game vibrate during take-off and landing, the same vibrations could be applied to the engines or horizontal stabilizers.
Why is this a good idea?
Would improve realism and, since it is already being done with flaps, why not add it to other components
Thank god I’m not the only one! I have just checked now and this feature, if it even is a feature or just a visual bug, is visible on planes going as far back as the 757 remodel (but only visible if the engines are under the wing). They are quite apparent on the A330 I think
The thing is they don’t vibrate during landing, taxi and handling, but on the exact same aircraft, only on takeoff, they start to shake so why would they not vibrate and then suddenly vibrate on the exact same plane when nothing changed?
Perhaps not, maybe just add the bug to the components I said before and.. boom, you have structural vibrations
Anyway, this thing only appears to happen on newer model aircraft. From my testing, planes like the 737 family, ATR family and even the A350 family do not have the shake, only newer models
Might just be me but I can’t see any flickering (only the shadows / lighting) in the videos, or at least not as much as the flaps. It seems that the flaps do shake quite a lot but it is only the flaps and the rest of the parts have very tiny flickering or none at all.
Yes, the shadows and light is what causes the flaps to look like they are vibrating. If you look at the pixels of the flaps, they are not moving, it’s just a lighting issue
What I still don’t get is why do they only start to vibrate a lot of takeoff? If you look at the same plane during landing, they are completely still (or slight flicker due to lighting)??
It only appears to start when the aircraft reaches the hold short line, idk if it’s visible in these videos due to the quality but the physical model of the flaps is moving up and down, not due to some lighting issue. It does not occur during any part of the arrival or handling stages
