When a player’s aircraft is undergoing a small check at the stand, the recently added repair crew should be utilised.
How would it work in the game?
Once a small check is initiated, the number of available repair crews is lowered by one and the repair van arrives to the plane, with the crew getting out and fixing the plane, just like it does for random faults.
Why is this a good idea?
The number of repair crews available for purchase is as high as other handling equipment, but only a few of them are actually needed. For example, at HKG you can have up to 135 of them, but in many hours playing the airport I’ve only used two simultaneously at the most, meaning it would be a total waste of wollars to purchase all 135. Making use of them like I suggest would “justify” buying more of them, especially for players with large fleets.
