What is your suggestion?
The flight number for round-trip will change on its own.The last digit of the arrival flight is 1, the last digit of the return flight is 2, and it becomes 1 again when coming. Set a tail number loop , Enable players to simulate real flight routes.
How would it work in the game?
Buy a contract, for example, buy one in AmsterdamThe initial contract will provide me with a flight number KL791. This is a contract from AMS-GRU. Arrange the aircraft for this contract to land and prepare for the return flight back to AMS. When ground services are completed, the aircraft requests to slide out, and the flight number should automatically change to KL792, which is GRU-AMS.
Why is this a good idea?
Allow players to experience realistic route management.
Would be a very good idea to introduce different flight numbers for inbound and outbound flights. But for the automatic change I’d suggest to make it possible to edit that as well, as some airlines don’t use different flight numbers.
Example TUI. Uses two flight numbers for most short-range flights, but the same flightnumber for multi-stop flights (mainly outside Europe).
Just a couple of examples.
Amsterdam-Zanzibar-Mombasa-Amsterdam (OR191)
Amsterdam-Boa Vista-Espargos-Amsterdam (OR3701)
Amsterdam-Willemstad-Amsterdam (OR381)
Other than that…all up for it to increase realism!
that OR381 actually stops in AUA which is considered a round robin when it does a triangle routed flight which is why it keeps one flight number. KLM does the same with the AMS-AUA-BON-AMS flights, but that could also be a fun feature in the future
