How would it work in the game?
New destination as a map contract.Union Glacier Blue-Ice Runway serves the nearby Union Glacier Camp, a private, seasonally occupied, camp in Antarctica. The camp hosts the annual Antarctic Ice Marathon, as well as the start of the World Marathon Challenge. It also serves the nearby Estación Polar Científica Conjunta Glaciar Unión (Union Glacier Joint Scientific Polar Station) Chilean summer Antarctic base. It hosts weekly (more or less) charter flights of large and small aircraft, and cargo flights “as needed.” Flights are typically from Punta Arenas, Chile, which the closest playable analog to in game is Santiago, Chile. It is approximately 2800nmi from SCL.
If added to the game, it can be a destination for players to send limited numbers of flights to, as well as providing a few passenger/cargo contracts.
Why is this a good idea?
It would be a really unique destination that could have some seasonal events to SCL.
