[Other] – Visual Realism Enhancements: Wing Flex, Lights, and Airport Effects

:bullseye: What is your suggestion?

I would like to suggest a few optional visual improvements that could increase the realism and immersion in World of Airports. These are small details that might make a big difference in the overall atmosphere, especially for aviation enthusiasts.

:hammer_and_wrench: How would it work in the game?

  1. Wing Flex During Takeoff
Aircraft wings could show a slight upward bend during rotation and liftoff, simulating real-life lift dynamics. This could be implemented as a subtle animation once a plane leaves the ground.
  2. Improved Anti-Collision Beacon Lights
The red rotating lights on top and underneath the fuselage (anti-collision beacons) used to be more vibrant in the earlier versions of the game. Right now, they appear too faint, especially during the day or on brightly painted aircraft. Making them brighter or more saturated would restore their visual impact.
  3. Landing Lights Illuminating the Aircraft Body
Landing lights could cast light onto the fuselage and wings during night operations, adding depth and realism. Currently, aircraft appear too dark at night, almost like silhouettes.
  4. Blinking Lights on Control Towers and Helicopters
Adding realistic beacon lights on control towers (e.g. red flashing, white strobes, or green/white rotating lights) would enhance night atmosphere. Also, at airports with helicopters (such as INN and BRI), it would be great to see those helicopters equipped with navigation and anti-collision lights, just like fixed-wing aircraft.

:balance_scale: Why is this a good idea?

These changes would improve the realism and visual richness of the game world, especially at night. While they are not essential to gameplay, they would increase immersion for players who enjoy the fine details of airport operations.

Some of these, like wing flex probably aren’t possible due to performance, but i like the tower and beacon light ideas.
