Why should this airline be added?
MAP Linhas Aéreas was formed in 2011 as an air taxi and home airline for the City of Manaus in the Amazon. It flew domestic routes and was a regular visitor to CGH, the other major airport of São Paulo so it wouldn’t be too far a push to imagine it at GRU. Voepass purchased the airline in 2019 during the scramble to acquire the slots left by the bankrupt Avianca Brazil. GOL had a failed acquisition attempt in 2021. In 2025, the airline went into administration at the same time its parent did and has now gone.It would be another ATR operator to see at GRU and one with a very snazzy livery, also giving Manaus its own airline.
