Airline Name
PAL - Principal Airlines
IATA: 5P / ICAO: PCP / Callsign: PRINCIPAL
Country of Origin
Chile
Aircraft Types Used (from those available in WoA)
B732 (737-200 Adv) (3 operated),B733 (737-300) (4 operated),
In 2010, the airline leased an A340 for less than a month for flights to somewhere, there’s no information about it, then in 2014, they wet’-leased an A333 from Air Europa to fly to Madrid but that service ended a couple of months later when the airline collapsed. I’ve not included either as the A343 has no photos and the A333 was in full Air Europa livery with only the name changed on the fuselage. Also operated 2 757s for a period but again barely had any livery change from the lessor Privilege Style.
Why should this airline be added?
Founded in June 2019 and deceased by May 2014, this was a small airline based out of SCL, doing flights both internally in Chile as well as to Brazil and further afield in South and Central America. Would provide a local airline for SCL with the B732 if we don’t get the LAN one as a regular.
