Why should this airline be added?
Founded in 1984, this airline began operations conducting private flights with its Westwinds before beginning scheduled flights in 1989 from Perth and Telfer for mining staff. These flights ceased in 1995 so the airline took up new flights for the Royal Australian Navy and other customers, keeping them busy into the 2000s whilst purchasing new types like the Metroliner and Learjet. In 2005, the airline took on an Emb-120 beginning flights from SYD to Brisbane carrying newspapers before it was bought by Rex later that year, in stages with the full purchase in 2007. In 2007 as well the airline began operating medical flights, utilising its Westwinds for that role. In 2008, the airline took on 2 pax Saab 340’s from Rex, one being an ex-Nok Air, operating under Rex colours but with no titles. 3 more would later be taken on, in 2008/09, converted to freight to operate cargo flights beginning in 2009 replacing the Metroliner’s. These flights continued until 2023 when they were sold on with the airline focussing solely on air ambulance services. In 2024, Rex sold the airline to Toll.It could make for an interesting cargo operator at SYD which it used to frequent regularly, plus it would be a second livery for the Saab 340F.
