PIA / B742 - Pakistan International Airlines

The Pakistan International Airlines livery for the 747-200(M)

(I can’t find another photo of it in this scheme sadly)

:pushpin: Why should this livery be added?
This livery was the final livery worn by the 747-200s in service, retiring them in 2011, with PIA and the current (I believe) livery so could work out as a cool regular livery for the airline. 9 were operated in total, 7 being B variant and 2 being B (M). The regular B variants were retired in 2005 leaving just the 2 M variants for Hajj flights and on the run to HKG for combined cargo pax ops. Now I know this is an M variant, however, while it was being repainted from the world tails scheme in 2009, it was refitted to be a fully passenger variant rendering the rear door unused and sealed up. It would therefore count as a fully passenger airliner, in this colour scheme which I would love to have at my HKG (Love you devs :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:).

Edit: AP-BAK up close

@Hirohitoswaifu just gotta say thanks, not just for suggesting all these cool and diverse aircraft but also teaching me about aviation more haha, half the airlines you suggest I’ve never heard of! Really cool to learn about all the cool little airlines from the past! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Cheers man, a lot I knew about from when I was younger from when I used to buy airliner world magazines (when they didn’t require a mortgage payment to buy) or through planespotters but some are also recent finds myself. This one I knew I’d seen a photo of at one point so I went hunting but didn’t know anything of the history of the aircraft and found it interesting, so I thought others may too. I do have a curious nature and I like to find things out and its nice to see others like it too
