Just to make the news thread interesting, would be a bit boring without the monthly Flexi and tranquility back and fourth. We still cooperate outside of this though

I know that, I am connecting with both FLI and TQI Alliances and enjoying it immensely. But what Ukplanespotter757 said is important. The wording paints the image.

Recent news on Ace Airlines

Announcement

Ace airlines is increasing frequency of operations for the following week due to thanksgiving travels. This will result in flights departing more frequently and hopefully more than once everyday.

Disclaimer: This only applies for thanksgiving week

New Aircraft and Routes for The Starting Airline

Ace airlines has declared that they have made a second order on the 777-300er, saying “The aircraft is a great fit for our airline, as we are making longer routes. That is why we have decided to continue to grow our fleet of these aircraft. We are also planning to acquire a333 after the a321xlr for slightly shorter routes from airports like BKK, SYD, or LHR.” Ace Airline’s CEO had stated that they are planning to send the 777 from their hub in Washington to MCT to connect with (@ARGON.)

Christmas Time Flights

The upcoming Christmas holiday has brought attention back to London Heathrow for Flexi with new flights scheduled out of the hub; one very unique flight spotted was a new unpainted B77W at the LeChonk terminal with the destination of the new Jjet terminal at Washington Dulles. Despite these new connections some problems are rearing at the hub as frequent snow burst are seemingly delaying flights at complete random causing many issues for the LeChonk group.

capitalizing on a weather problem

With both the FLI and TQI trying to get the upper hand in the market, FLI sees major delays due to snow across Europe and parts of the US. But, even with the snow, Horsepower flights are departing earlier than others after snow delays.

“thanks to our home base being a very snowy area in the winter, we require all of our pilots, regardless of what airport they are based out of, to go through a special course on operating in some of the worse snow conditions.” said the horsepower CEO 5 years ago, when asked why IDA wasn’t shut down after a record snowfall. “with how bad the snow can get, we don’t have the luxury of stopping flights at the sight of snow like this”

However, even with this training, delays are occurring during heavy snowfall, for the safety of staff, passengers, and airframes.

Huge Scare for Airlines!
The bank system that Ace Airlines (and many other airlines) use had reset for a software update. Unfortunately a bug in the system resulted in the airlines losing their accounts. This could’ve resulted in the loss of billions of dollars. Fortunately the issue was solved and only caused minor delays.
