As contemplated JJet have cancelled their upcoming hub in London. They’ve decided to demote Prague to just an upcoming destination from IAD. So JJet have ended ambitions domestically in Europe. They’ve instead gone back to MSY which was suspended last December. MSY-IAD is set to commence operations on the 1st of march. Then they’ll start other flight out of MSY after that. Good news to counter bad!

strange sighting

In 2017 Horsepower airline’s Supersonic branch placed an order for 50 Overture aircraft, a monumental order for the subsidiary, however, in 2022, this order was reduced to 15 after the aircraft was redesigned, the CEO stating “they just don’t fit the market we had planned for them”, quoting the fact it would likely be more expensive to operate and have less places it could operate.

However, today a very strange plane was spotted by thousands on flight radar and in person at IDA international.

A aircraft marked “OVT(16)” was found on the radar surrounding IDA, and was spotted by many staff leaving the horsepower airlines maintanence hangars. This plane was sadly not captured by any plane spotters (I’m too broke to buy it in aeronautica atm)

Alongside this new plane, many reports of a “similar but non-Concorde sst” have been reported around IDA, but again, no photos have been captured. What could it be?

Noticing a lack of likes on this so I’m curious now
Do yall enjoy the stuff like that where I bring certain aircraft that never existed to life
(also I swear I’m not trying to get likes or something, it’s just me comparing between this story and previous stories)

  • I don’t particularly enjoy fictional stuff
  • It’s alright, just don’t really like or hate it
  • Yeah, it’s cool

creating what was lost

Today, a horsepower airlines Boom Overture was spotted at Larnaca, however the plane was not in the recent design, but instead the 2016 design. The plane was scheduled for a flight from Larnaca to Muscat as a delivery flight to the new Horsepower Hub.

This plane is a product of a recent company known as “Horsepower Aircraft Manufacturing”, a company dedicated to building some more obscure or lost aircraft designs, with the permission of original manufactures under most cases.

The company is currently only building for horsepower and tranquility alliance members, however a road map shows that it will eventually become a primary manufacturer.

in other news

Today Horsepower posted a new photo on their Instagram page with what looks to be an A340-20p or a340-300, and the caption “When the sun sets, yet another plane joins our ranks. COMING MARCH OF 2025” signals that the airline could be receiving a new aircraft. Many have speculated it could be for evening star, however others pointed out that the A340 would be too short range and underpowered for the airline, leaving many confused. Who could this new plane be for?

This is the first of 50, staying in line with the original order of the aircraft. So far only 1 has Ben completed by horsepower’s manufacturing plant in IDA, however, 4 more have been spotted in progress along with some other projects that are unknown.

return of the OG

In 1976 Horsepower airline launched their first major international flight after a slot purchase in Kai Tak. The flight was operated by a modified 747sp and bore a specialty livery from the airline’s other aircraft shown below

This jet was taken out of service after Kai Tak was closed and the airline was unable to gain a slot at the new port.

However, as of last month, Horsepower Airlines managed to purchase multiple slots at Hong Kong, and with this purchase they have announced that the IDA-HKG flight will be resuming in March 15th of 2025, 49 years to the day that they launched the first international flight. Along with the timing, they have announced that the original 747sp will be returning to service for the flight, completely refurbished and with a few additional fuel tanks to bridge the gap in it’s range.
