Pride is back!
As part of a annual tradition of the airline Eco has finished painting an A320-200 (EI-ECH) into there 2025 Pride livery which rolled out of the IAC facility in Shannon on the 27th of May before heading to the Eco Engineering Works for storage until now where it flew from SNN to DUB empty which was tons of plane enthusiast flood DUB to see it coming in.
Seems like we are the only airline who fly’s around in Pride.
Mysterious crj spotted at IAD?
A mysterious crj has been spotted in Washington Dulles! This plane was seen being handled with fuel and nothing else… whilst the crew were wearing flexi handling outfits, which few flexi airlines use. It was ultimately determined this was a goldline plane, as goldline had obtained a crj 1 year back…
Also, a goldline employee accidentally leaked this livery on twitter briefly before it got taken down:
What could this mean?
Today at the board meeting of the Orange Air Executive Council a proposal was discussed for developing operation plans for a very special airport.
The subsidiary Orange Air Ancillary Services, responsible for all non-flying aspects if the Orange Air Group, was inspired by the recent wave of “vintage” airplane requests. Also the (still not put to rest) rumours of a “back to the history” airport like Kai Tak contributed to the idea.
Put together, it was proposed to ask the developers for Tracy Island Airport (TXX) as a playable airport and introduce the Thunderbird 1 and Thunderbird 2 as “resident” aircraft for TXX.
The Counsel was not amused that Orange Air employees spend their business hours contemplating such nonsense and advised against it. The CEO decided the same.

Breaking News
a new day, a new question
Today at IDA, a handful of plane spotters noted seeing what was called the “liminal a350”, with one noting the name with “it looks normal from the front, but something seemed off on the side”
It was later made more clear after the plane parked next to an a350-900 that it was shorter, by about 6 meters.
Many plane spotters were confused as it would be an A350-800.
It was confirmed by the CEO in a conference following a major Embraer order for the airline’s future SCL base
“Horsepower manufacturing has brought another plane that never left the drawing board to life, that being the A350-800” Many people were excited, some confused. A couple airlines, notably American and the now Korean owned Asiana brought their original intrest for the type to horsepower, placing orders for the type once the frame was tested and certified
how on earth did you acquire the rights from airbus? ![]()
Money. Too much of it.
We hope sales will recoup it
I’ll happily buy it for €500 Million.
But, i will merge it into the main Eco Avation brand, sell all E175 and most E170 and deploy the E190 around Europe, Asia and Middle East after there repaint and reconfigure.
500 million! That’s a steal for you!
JJet Pull out of Europe All together
JJet have had multiple routes from IAD to Europe before, but now they are stopping all of them, relying on their Flexi Alliance Partners to fill the gap currently. JJet have suspended all their routes to Europe in immediate effect! You may be wondering why they’ve pulled this audacious move, well the reason is to expand with high demand domestic routes, using 737s to LAX DFW and SFO so far. Expanding on high demand routes helps boost JJets presence in the US.
dude nah that’s a steal i’ll bargin $100 million
As in, you are offering to sell for 100m total? Or 600m?
i’m selling the airline for 100M
Lmao. I’ll buy it!
well i’ll split between you & @Ecoaviation but you need to give me the airline liveries
regional return?
Today many noticed new Horsepower Airlines flights from Leipzig, with one to Kosovo and another to Bulgaria. The reason this is strange is the last time that Horsepower air had a major presence here was over 2 years ago before the airline went bankrupt in June of 2023. The two flights were noted as codeshares with discover airlines, which was part of a recent agreement between discover and Horsepower air.
“Leipzig was previously a large hub for us and we want to return, maybe not with our original presence, but definetly something close.”
Multiple Horsepower cargo aircraft have arrived at the airport within the past week, notably the following
5 B463Fs
2 SF34Fs (both being part of the Pony Express branch)
And a 77WF (the aircraft was blank, presumably borrowed from horsepower leasing)
