Ryanair is happy!
Ryanair has announced that after the Privilege Style flight which was to overcrowd the standing cabin and charging to use the bathroom the CEO (Michael O Leary) is very happy that his standing cabin and charging to use the bathroom was proven to be possible therefore he can lower everyone’s airfare by 20 percent
This how happy he was when he heard the news.
In other news: The regulators are very unhappy saying that Privilege Style has Violated every single safety regulation, and that protest was funded by the aircraft safety agency and was to show it was wrong to treat people like rats on First Capital Connect, but also a huge backlash where a travel media person was forced to sit in a dirty dirty bathroom in the seating cabin in the cargo hold , this is a picture taken after the flight when they where starting to unload
The protest is still continuing until everyone on the flight gets a minimum of €500.00 of compensation.
Today the Chonk group has taken delivery to its final large planes in Nagoya with 3 A340-300 and 1 refurbished B747-400 bought from the Victorville scrapyard in the USA. The engines were fully repaired and they had a new custom made interior from Boeing.
Isnt that aeronautica
Yep
I hate crashing in that game
I’m going to say this for a final time and people are going to end up suspended if you don’t adhere to it.
Post news about your airlines, but do not post about planes crashing or people getting hurt. Even in our fake universe
There is a reason the devs have not put emergencies in the game and this is one of them.
Hope I’ve made myself clear. Next person gets an official time out.
Ah, didn’t really mean it to be a bad thing, it was more of just me saying
“hey, I was in an air show, and I suck at flying”
I’ll delete it
Quick reminder of the rules for this thread.
Right
Horsepower airlines was part of an airshow, aerokosh 2024
For the most part it went well
Here are some highlights that other people caught
Is Eco up another record?
Today this ex EI ATR will be flying from DUB to CVG with an ATR without stopping for refuel, this is done by replacing all the seats with Fuel tank in the cabin and cargo hold. It should complete the trip in about 14 hours. Its the smallest turboprop aircraft (the isn’t the DHC6) to cross the Atlantic without stopping for refuel.
Looks like another Guinness World Record?
FlyMetro has reached a deal with Airbus for 6 A350-900s with an option for 9 more, for 2,100,000 wollars. Airbus says they will be delivered in FlyMetro’s fiscal Q2 (September 17-December 17)
Here is a picture of the deal being made:
FlyMetro’s CEO says despite only using Boeing widebodies in the past, their 777-300ER jets do not fit future expansion plans, but they are hopeful the Airbus fleet commonality will help FlyMetro train existing A320 family pilots. He also said the A350 is the first step in a new roadmap for expansion of the airline.
We wonder what could be next in the airline’s new plan for expansion.
Hopefully it doesn’t have the standing cabin extra capacity mod like I did with the 777
Breaking news
Belguim airlines has annocued they will be leaving the IAG group as the company decided to become a non allaince airline until further notice
CEO of Orange Air files complaints about Deutsche Bahn
The CEO of Orange Air announced today that a complaint has been filed about the behaviour of some Engine Drivers of the DB. In some instances they “overshot” the train platforms at LEJ so that some passengers could not leave the train, missing their flight as a result.
The CEO stated that if an overshoot happened with one of his planes, the world was too small to contain the resulting uproar.
He demanded a proper investigation and appropriate measures to make this a thing of the past.
Today the LeChonk group has made a major restructuring of contracts at their airports
Now SAN and PRG have:
20 X/L AI contracts
40 M/S AI contracts
10 X/L own contracts
20 M/S own contacts
Now MCT, NGO, LHR, and SYD have:
20 X/L AI contracts
40 M/S contracts
10 X/L player contracts
15 Own X/L player contracts
25 Own M/S player contracts
The reason for this restructure has been a response to new arrival of many player contracts.
Some of these new L contacts were spotted at IAD doing maintenance before sending them to their homebases
At NGO some of these planes have arrived and are loading up at the X/L terminal
The CEO of the LeChonk group was quoted In saying
“This critical restructuring has brought potential never seen before and I am excited to see what the future holds”
Happy flying all
Eco trying to get passengers on trains?
Today Eco Aviation has worked with IE, TPE DB and open access operator Eco Trains. To sell tickets at a huge discount if they bought a transfer from the airport to there hotel, it comes after an Eco Aviation MP visited an Airport train station and see that no one got on or off the trains he released pics for proof.
“Not one person got on that train, it’s a nightmare, it’s starting to become a laughing stock to the airport industry why are tickets so expensive?”
Eco know about it and talk to 150 train operators who agrees to lower ticket prices by 60 percent and promise to change there service to the airport.
Will it be successful?
