Evacuation, or PR stunt?

With hurricane Francine worsening as it reaches Louisiana, Horsepower air has begun to cancel flights within the path, but have almost tripled flights out of the state in an attempt to help with evacuation, as well as helping people with their belongings, as all 5 Conroy Skymonsters under horsepower SuperTransport have been flying between MSY and Horsepower’s IAD superhub. The entire pony express fleet, minus the K200 Combi, is also flying between Louisiana’s smaller airports and MSY. As of today, horsepower’s last aircraft departed this morning, a final goods evac flight from MSY to LEJ, where the belongings will be left on any planes that have them until the hurricane clears. The flight was using 777-300ERSF registration N883XA. This was also the last plane out of MSY airport.

One strange thing about this is that Horsepower offered these evacuation flights at 0 charge to anyone in the area that will be affected, and they say they already have a Mriya full of relief supplies ready to takeoff from it’s operational hub in LEJ once the hurricane clears. Could this all have been a large PR stunt to get more customers, and did it work?

The LeChonk group is excited to announce that In the coming weeks the LeChonk group is planned a large expansion at LHR officially turning it into a hub. The expansion involves an investment of 80 GP (premium pass) buying up many planes. Included in this list are 2 A306s which will be scrapped and sold, 2 A333s and 2 A332s (one of which is getting sent to the SYD fleet) This purchase will fling LHR into a new generation of profit and make LHR a staple hub.

Nice to see the expansion! Hopefully you will remodel your part of T3 as its quite outdated!

The return has begun, with Francine degrading to a simple storm, planes began flying in during the tail of the storm, creating some beautiful photo opportunities for landing aircraft, which some planespotters took advantage of. The first aircraft to reach MSY after re-opening was horsepower’s 225 followed shortly by the conroy skymonsters. Flights around Louisiana pick up as Francine continues up the US, degrading as it continues. As assistance picks up from horsepower, so do flights, with many family members of people in the storm path are flown in from around the country and in some cases the world, as search and rescue efforts are launched for missing persons and repair efforts are made.

Wait so LHR is going to be your main hub while sydeny is your secondary hub? is that right

SURPRISE NEWS!!!

A surprise meeting of Argon Air board members met at IBZ with a large group of employees. As Argon Air is is still tight lipped about it’s fourth hub, rumor has it they may open operation at SXM.
Photos taken by our camera crew out at SXM have evidence of activity AND, a new livery.

What we do know is Argon Air has potentially moved its fleet of smaller unused planes to SXM in order to supplement local airlines with the influx of their employee on vacation/holiday.

Economic wise Argon Air has procured longer range aircrafts to transport those employees on vacation/holiday to IAD in the US.

We did intercept a few of the board members as the conference ended in the Balearic Island of Ibiza and posed the same question to each: What is next for Argon Air? HA, nobody talked.
We were all fooled until a spokesperson for Argon Air called all of us into a large conference room.
“Argon Air has started operations at SXM for a limited time until ALL employee vacation/holiday cycle ends on October 1st. We are working with the local island airlines to supplement the increased travel needs in the area. A proposal was presented along with an airline livery redesign. The proposal has been accepted and for recognition for their hard work, even on vacation, the proposed livery is going to be painted on all small aircrafts as they enter one of our hubs. We are in the process of polling our employees for the a change of livery to the rest of our fleet to be introduced when the airline returns to full operations”
We tried to press the spoke person to what design only met with silence.
As for new airline contracts Argon Air still maintains…“when we get back to full operations”.

New Route Announcement and A Whole New Experience

With recent demand between Tokyo and Frankfurt at an all time high (I came up with two random airports, don’t ask if the demand doesn’t match irl), Horsepower SuperSonic has decided to launch a new flight using it’s recently refurbished 2707s. It’ll be a tri-daily flight and have a flight time of around 5 hours thanks to the high speed of the Boeing 2707, compared to the average flight time of 13 hours using horsepower’s standard 787-10. The flights will also include the newest options of first class and business class seating, as the refurbished 2707s are the 2nd to use the new seats, second to the a380 fleet which just recently finished refurbishment as well. The new first class menu options are now available, including Japanese, American, And special Hawaiian style foods

A new hub, a new fleet

Horsepower air has recently been seen to be moving planes in mass to Bangkok, Thailand, primarily consisting of:
15 Bombardier Dash 8 q200, 300, and 400s
30 ATR 72-500 and 600s
5 Boeing 757-200s
2 Boeing 787-8s
And as I write this one A340-200 is en route from IDA international to be presumably parked too
These movements were parked in the offhand maintanence areas which horsepower started leasing from Thai back in late August, and many speculate that BKK could be a new hub for horsepower, along with other airlines.

The reason we say other airlines because some airlines like Tr3y air and Channex international have made movements to BKK as well, with 3 Tr3y air A350-1000s and a Channex A330-300 seen alongside the horsepower aircraft. Could BKK become a new hub for the “World Of Airports” group, or is this just a joint venture for new maintanence facilities as some have said could be happening.

Another strange thing about this is that Thai airways had their retied aircraft originally parks din the airport moved, and since this movement, many of the aircraft has seen pre-registration and re-entering of service with horsepower, as they start more flights into BKK from their hubs in IAD, IDA, NGO (with smaller a320s and a321), and LHR.

Ah yes that’s for scrap, only use A332s these days, and we don’t have many of them.

Horsepower can buy it, no need to scrap a good plane

Don’t forget that Eco Aviation has also transferred some A330-200s from HKT into BKK already have a base there and just increase aircraft that are based there.

Those were parked behind the a350 and 787s so nobody noticed them :joy: (how to come up with excuses on the spot 101)
