Hello everyone, this morning I bought a new Aircraft to increase the fleets variety and create better options for future connections. The aircraft in question was the B772 and the first one landed late this morning, ready to depart. I have now bought 5 of the planes and have put them 2 on the route from BKK-BRI to @Flap and put 3 of them on the route from BKK-LHR to @navigator.nv. I am planning on purchasing up to 10 more to send to my alliance partners at flexi and to others in the community. So if anyone would like to have any just message me and I’ll get them too you in the next few days. Anyway thanks for reading to all this…..

DM Airlines news: New planes, milestones and expansions
Recently, a new aircraft type has joined the fleet of DM Airlines. The airline has acquired 5 A340-300s to complement the large -600s which are also part of the fleet. These additions bring the total count of A340 family aircraft in the fleet to 21, most of which are based at the main hub of PRG (15). Many of DM Airlines’ A340s can be seen operating the short route from PRG to LHR in cooperation with @SugarGlider. At one point, 11 A340s were dedicated to this route and connection only. The other A340-300s are operating flights to BKK to the hub of @ZurichAirways and British Northwestern’s (@Hirohitoswaifu) hub at HKG. There is also one airframe which is based out of MCT, flying regularly to IAD in cooperation with @StJohnsplanespotter. So far, these are the only destinations seeing the A340-300, but more routes which these planes could be used on are in the works, especially through the addition of the ZRH hub next month.

One of the newly purchased A340s, registered OK-HUU, is the 400th plane in the DM Airlines fleet. This is another big milestone in the fleetbuilding process, which is not expected to slow at all with the addition of two new hubs planned for next month.
Alongside the ZRH hub, which was planned for many months already, the airline will restart hub operations at IAD. Formerly the second largest hub, operations have been paused for almost a year now. The IAD subfleet will start with 33 aircraft from across many Boeing aircraft families, but it is expected to grow by a lot, possibly to over 150 airframes if all goes well. IAD will be focused on outbound connections only to ensure the traffic flows don’t exceed capacity. Operations will likely start at around the same time as at ZRH, maybe a week later at most.

Expansions are also coming to the existing network, most notably to DM Airlines’ cargo division. The airline is now in the process of acquiring tens of Boeing 737 freighters for many of its hubs. Both 737-400 and 737-800 freighters are expected to join the fleet, potentially doubling or even tripling the fleet size of DM Airlines cargo. Until now, cargo operations have mostly been focused out of BKK, but the smaller 737s will allow usage in many airports with smaller cargo terminals like PRG and BRI. One airframe has already been flying with the airline for a while through a lease, so the aircraft type is already tested in the operational network as well, though these will be the first outright owned 737 freighters.

DM Airlines news: ZRH is coming and DMA Express back in operation
In the last week or so, preparations for ZRH are ramping up. Right now, it is known that DM Airlines operations at the new hub will start with 7 transferred planes - one B463, two A320 family aircraft, two A330s, one A346 and a B744. These planes will be sent to player connections from the start, going to many of DM Airlines’ most reliable connection partners. It is likely that many of these planes will only operate from ZRH temporarily but detailed fleet plans have not yet been affirmed.
Also on the topic of ZRH, many contracts will be estabilished from DM Airlines hubs at PRG, MCT and newly IAD to other player’s ZRH. At least 40 planes from the mainline fleet will be dedicated just for this purpose.
In order to better facilitate short-turnaround connections to Zurich, operations will also restart on the regional division* - DM Airlines Express. These will be made up of E175s based at Innsbruck, mere minutes away from Zurich. The exact quantity of regional jets available for this route is not yet clear** but the INN-ZRH route allows for multiple turnarounds each day with every active aircraft, allowing for fast progress on hub-building.
Expect the DM Airlines ZRH open for connections thread to be created in the next couple of days

DM Airlines - Great start at Zurich
Less than 12 hours since the opening of the ZRH hub, we have succesfully created many new connections to and from the new airport.
Firstly, I would like to thank the people who have sent me planes to my Zurich - and there was a lot of planes. Just a few hours after release, I had my contract capacity at 50/50, and even though not all of these were player planes, most of them were and it really is a lot. Now I’m back to having a couple of free contract slots so I can take a few more planes again after a while.
On the other side, almost 50 of DM Airlines fleet planes are now used on ZRH connections from other hubs. Adding that to the seven planes transferred to ZRH, that makes over 100 new connections in total just today. So far, there have been no major issues in operations (the only one with me unable to send A340s to ZRH has been resolved very quickly) and the ZRH base is basically ready to fulfill its role as a primary network hub already.
Huge thanks to everyone I now have ZRH connections with and let’s get this going

Sonic air news #14 World Cup kickoff!
Sonic airlines are beginning service to all airports in response to fifa kickoff in Seattle. Meaning all airports they hadn’t touched in like FOREVER are going to start ops back up! And with ZRH as an option (with I cost) Sonic airlines are planing to move their hub of European operations to that airport. Sonic airlines also wants to add more flights to Seattle. We are hoping they can go thu with the plans.
IAD event kickoff!
The IAD event starts today! It features fifa specials, D and E size planes, fan service, and probably more! Ones again this is to take care of event contracts. This is the very first event IAD is holding, so let hope the fans aren’t going to be disappointed.

2 Concordes maintain a regular service between Washington IAD and Swiss ZRH, paving the way for future airplanes currently in development.

DM Airlines news: More planes, ZRH fleet planned and ultra-long-hauls
During the last weeks, DM Airlines has been expanding operations out of Zurich. Just today, the 100th contract slot has been filled and the ZRH fleet is now made up of 17 based planes. Many of these are pass rewards (mostly A320 family aircraft), but a couple of new A340s have also joined the fleet in the last few days.
A poll was carried out deciding what the airline’s main fleet plane at ZRH would be with the A340-300 winning with almost 40%. Since then the general fleet plans for ZRH have been created, and the expected total number of ZRH-based planes is approximately 120 - made up of A340s (up to 30) as well as 787s, C919s, B463s, E190s and E2s (10 of each), with 747s and other aircraft types in smaller quantities. As of now, a new (widebody) plane joins the ZRH-based fleet about every 2 days.

Another poll was also made to decide if a new aircraft type will join the fleet, and with 74% approval, the A340-500 will be added to the fleet at multiple airports. While it is not the most profitable aircraft and many routes will inherently operate at a loss, it will have an important role in making ultra-long-haul flights possible. The main routes it will be used on are PRG-SYD and ZRH-SYD, but it will fly to some other destinations as well based on demand. The acquisiton of A340-500 is crucial so even the furthest away airports can be reached from the core European hub network of PRG and ZRH. Livery design is currently in progress but multiple different livery combinations will likely be used, including the 2026 Football fever livery.

OIEO Airlines has just received 10 new CRJ9s at Zurich to be sent out to various locations across Europe - creating a great start for this newly emerging airline in a world full of massive airlines and super large planes. We will receive 4 E190s in the coming days to be sent out to various capitals including Athens, Berlin, Vienna and Prague.
Here are most of them today. They were delivered after all the large aircraft had left so there was enough room for them so we could also keep open the stands between the two concourses with other aircraft.
This is an image “edited” by AI to look like our routes for the bombardier jets. It’s not great to be honest because I think Rotterdam needs to be fixed and Kos is way off but hey ho we are lucky with what we’ve got already :).
