EMA since cargo
Sounds like Bournemouth to me, is said airline one which is returning to their spiritual home?
I was pretty close
Must be London Luton, I heard you mentioned your live near it.
Nvm, Its Bournemouth, I thought Luton was your local airport?
Yea gotta be bourmouth.
Was going to give it a while but seems most of you got it, was indeed Bournemouth, now for any explanations.
- One runway (pretty self explanatory)
- 11 stands (each red dot being a stand)
- The obscure cargo airline is European Air Cargo, who only operate A340s
- Jet2 will begin operating out of Bournemouth on the 4th of February, so @ukplanespotter757 yes
Luton is (unfortunately) my local airport although I never mentioned anything about it being my local airport.
Remember watching the Channel Express Fokkers 27s from Hurn, as well as the European BAC 1-11 and Palmairs mix of aircraft over the years.
Not a fan of secondary airports, sure I’ve been to Stansted but when I visited Luton oh boy it was a nightmare, thankfully I live near a primary airport but I don’t know if ORK and BFS counts as a secondary airport because of where I live, but I’ve been to both ORK and BFS before.
Let’s test you guys US airport knowledge
- it has 9 commercial stands, 2 jetbridges, and a special stand that is fedex only, directly next to a fedex shipping center
- 2 runways, except one is only used for GA, and is near perpendicular to the Commercial runway
- it has a tri-daily flight to and from salt Lake, one morning, one afternoon, and one late evening
- daily morning flight from fedex that typically uses a caravan, but occasionally an ATR
- 1 of the jetways includes delta logos while the other includes allegiant logos
- the western most apron has an electrical supply store directly off of it
I highly doubt anyone will get this
Hurn? Bet back then you’d never expect what was Channel Express to become the giant airline it is today.
Lets see if anyone gets this airport
- I have a super long runway
- I am located in the heart of Avation
- I am the main location of aircraft maintenance and engineering
- I can store aircraft as long as it needs to

Just offended me
Southern California Logistics Airport
AKA Victorville?
You never heard it called Hurn airport before? EGHH, BOH etc no you just think it’s gonna carry on transporting flowers from Channel Islands to UK but do hope for a Channel Express retro jet
Not once have I seen it referred to as Hurn, normally just Bournemouth. I do hope Jet2 do some special liveries in future, an original silver tail and bringing back the Manchester livery would be nice.
Yeah im stuck…
Ontario maybe???
Not a youth by any chance my dads side of family is from Doris (Dorset) so use to visit BOH as a kid when they had the viewing platform etc then when the museum was on airport, Good memories there.
You’re close in terms of distance, but no
Hint: Alaska operates a tri-daily Seattle flight with an E175 as well
Got to be Burbank right?
