Real World Aviation news

Guess I’ll have to go to the USA to see 757s!
Lucky Atlanta has heeps of them.
Also a 757 (can’t remember reg but it was in the grey Jet2 livery) came to Gatwick from Liverpool. Couldn’t see it as it was pitch black
Also are all Jet2 757s retired now???

Hopes it gets added to the game before it’s retired🤞

Seems unlikely given how little time they have left.

It should get added either way honestly

One of those things that wont be known until the 757 is remodelled, realistically I’d imagine it probably wouldn’t be added despite being one of those liveries which people want. At the end of the day, I don’t think a Jet2 757 has ever regularly flown to any of the in game airports. They occasionally showed up at PRG and one did venture down to LHR during some BA strikes. It’s always worth remembering stuff which flies to in games airport will always be more important and higher priority, I mean could you imagine IAD without United 757s?

When it comes to retired airlines and aircraft, it’s a case of occasionally some will show up (like the recent Thai aircraft), but as the devs mentioned in the Q&A when someone asked about it, it seems they are mostly aiming at modern stuff which is still around. Let’s take Thomas Cook as another example, we got the A330 in 2.0 but no sign of an A321 for INN which they use to be regulars at in winter.

However, if the 757 remodel was to release before the last flight in January, or was in development around that time then it might have a chance. Got to get the A321 and the silver A321neo first though. :joy:

One can all but hope for some older liveries for a change, so many airlines which could be of great use for many airports. I mean look at older photos of INN, the apron is full of Thomas Cook, Monarch and First Choice 757s.

Anyways that’s that, we’ll see what happens and back to aviation news.

The 40-year era of Boeing 767s in the TUI Group has come to an end. After completing flights on the Amsterdam - Fuerteventura - Lanzarote - Amsterdam route, the B767-300 of the Dutch subsidiary of the travel holding company was re-based to Istanbul, where the conversion will be carried out. The 25-year-old plane will gain a second life by becoming a freighter.:worried:

Air Canada will return two Boeing B767-300 aircraft to service
Air Canada recently unveiled its upcoming fleet plans. By the end of 2025, 28 machines will join it. This wouldn’t be surprising if it weren’t for the fact that among them there are two Boeing 767-300ERs. The move would mark the return of the wide-body plane, which was retired in 2020 due to fallout from the coronavirus pandemic.:partying_face::partying_face:

Good news for us canadians

Normally when you have a pair of 767s in service, one is horribly unreliable and has a tantrum every other week and the other is faultless. May I refer you to the last 2 TUI Airways 767s, G-OBYK and G-OBYF last summer.
