2024 has been a insane year for aviation
They not gone anywhere yet they’ve entered Chapter 11 which help them recover. It’s something we need here in the UK and FlyBe and Thomas Cook would still be here.
oh ok
I CAN FINALLY GO SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN SALT LAKE
oh wait it’s a Denver flight, and united has a Denver flight
IT’S STILL CHEAPER
Just got BNA added as a destination from SHV (my local airport) by Allegiant Air. Seems like quite a few expansions.
Seems too be none from Asheville so far ![]()
Lufthansa will retire A340-600 faster
Almost three years earlier than planned, Lufthansa will retire its Airbus A340-600s. The German airline’s initial plans indicated 2028, like its other four-engine aircraft, but it is now known that it will happen as early as next year. In a statement published by ch-aviation.com, a Lufthansa spokesperson confirmed that the A340-600 fleet will be retired at the start of the 2025/26 winter season.
Such a shame! Haven’t seen a Lufthansa 340-600 (except for 35k feet where you can just see contrails…)
Saw the -300 a few times though
(DFW 2021 I think)
Only one more baby bus operator left…
Airfrance…
can this year get worse
this is a sad day
Do. Not. Jinx. It.
Thats good
Anybody know of any remaining A380 flights between the U.S. and Europe anymore? All the Lufthansa, Air France, and BA ones I was looking up just seem to be B748s, or some other large aircraft replacing them ![]()
Ba still do a380 flights for LAX to LHR
Emirates SFO DXB
Emirates JFK DXB
and more
Hmm, don’t think I wanna go 3 hrs West to LAX just to go that much further East lol. I know DFW had some to FRA and I thought somewhere else on the East coast as well. ![]()
