Not to be political and also not knowing all the facts, but Qatar has previously on more than one occasion been accused of bribing EU officials, notably over the world cup so they’d avert their gaze when it comes to human rights abuses. Based on this Estonian chaps immediate suspension, seems a little suspicious. Maybe Air France-KLM are jumping the gun a bit, maybe to try and preserve their monopoly in EU travel knowing the Gulf airlines are taking away their customer base, who knows. Will have to wait and see what comes out.
Air Canada has transferred the first of 45 Boeing 737-8s to its low-cost Rouge subsidiary. The aircraft, C-FTJV, has been given a cabin refit in line with the requirements of Rouge, namely a reduction of a row in business class and the addition to 2 rows in economy class. The new configuration will see the aircraft carry 165 passengers in economy and 12 in business class.
The aircraft has not yet been repainted, with only a Rouge sticker applied to the fuselage so far. Passengers will be happy to know that the aircraft will retain its free Wifi, reclining seats and seat-back entertainment, meaning that the legroom will be the main distinguishing factor when flying Air Canada’s low-cost option.
This is great! With these more comfortable seating options hopefully we start to see air Canada Rouge start to go back into the transatlantic business soon
First time I seen a non emirates a380 that doesnt have white as the primary color lol. While It looks way better on other aircraft I am really excited to see this around the world!
I think the Lufty livery would’ve benefitted from being in the old livery’s colours. I really like the pattern they’ve used but the colours are just so bland, and that’s across the fleet. Personally think the B748 will look the best based on the concept art but we’ll see. I love this BA though, LHR pass update when devs?
