Definitely go to the starbucks at T1 upstairs at departures you’ll get very nice views, I always go there when I needed a coffee or tea in the morning before I start work nearby.

So I thought that we’d go back to Heathrow today to fly ba or aer lingus but right now we are going to stansted about to fly Ryanair. I’ve never been to stansted and I’ve only flown Ryanair one when I was really young so the only thing I know about them are the negative stereotypes online. However I’m coming into this experience with an open mind and an unbiased opinion so I’ll keep you guys updated on my personal experience with this airport and airline.
Don’t expect much, quite nice airport but it can get extremely busy.
Little update now that I’ve landed. Stansted was fine but security was slow and the chairs were a bit dirty. As for the flight, it really wasn’t bad. Ryanair obviously isn’t the best airline but you get what you pay for and I don’t think it’s as bad as other airlines like spirit and flair.
I think A400 flew above my house, but I don’t catch it
Welcome to my local airport, i do hope you will enjoy your stay. ![]()
Is that the strikemaster based near me?
Not 100% sure, probably came from Western Airport or Baldonald airbase.
Ah, I’m on the Wirral and Hawarden has one based there.
Just had a look on flightradar and it is the Chester based one.
I will be flying to CFU in 20 days on 22A.
Nice uneventful flight, was basically up and down. Good first impression with Ryanair, nothing more than expected. Legroom was fine, but I am quite short.
Well, the moment you’ve all been waiting for… I flew with someone other then BA…
Virgin Atlantic!
Quite an uneventful flight, in economy, got seat 45A allocated, an extra leg room seat being the first row of economy. Good food, crew were fine, and a decent landing in Atlanta!
I swear I always arrive at ATL when it’s raining…
Am I seeing this correctly? No, no I can’t be…
Don’t worry, back to BA on the leg back ![]()
