A little bit of the Gilberto Freyre - Recife/Guararapes Internacional Airport (REC/SBRF) :brazil: on 01 february 2021:

The rivals Gol (old livery) Boeing 737-800 (PR-GUA) and Latam A320ceo (PR-MHX) tails:

The majestic Azul Airbus A330-900neo (PR-ANZ, O mundo é Azul/The world is Blue). In the background, we can see one of the Sideral’s Boeing 737-400F with the Mercado Livre livery:

Completed my trip back home yesterday. I was lucky enough to snag one of the shorter remaining wide-body domestic flights, it being an American Airlines 777-223ER from LAX to DFW. After that I caught the usual little American Airlines CRJ-900LR from DFW back to SHV. Had an amazing view of the tarmac at LAX in the American Airlines Flagship Admirals Club, where I got to see an A319 pull straight at me. Also saw it loaded with a lot of cargo boxes which was interesting. Last interesting note was how many Western Global Airlines MD-11s are now on the ground at SHV, a smaller regional airport. There must be at least 6 now, and there’s a B744 on its way from LAX as I write this. After a little research, it appears they built that huge hanger in 2018 for maintenance and can service 3 wide-bodies at once.

Well that night has to be the worst I have ever slept, not because I here a lot of trains passing through but today an A330-300 flew right over me at about 4000ft at 5:00 in the morning I woke up wondering what’s that sound and when I checked flight radar it was a large A330-300

After living in Hawaii with F-22s doing their rounds all day (when I’m sleeping on nights), and now in Louisiana with B-52s doing runs overhead all day, I think I’ve become numb to their screaming and screeching at ~500 to 1000ft overhead. Although sometimes when it’s cloudy and they’re really spooled up/flying overhead, the B-52s can sound like they’re about to crash right into my house.

Since when did they have CRJ700s?!

Alright… Today was a fantastic day for planespotting from my garden today, I got 20 aircraft flying from my house near DUB the highlights was the Magma Aviation 747-400 on the last picture and the 1 and. 2nd picture was the KLM 777-300 painted into the special Orange Pride livery. Here’s some more from KMSP. Sorry for some of the pics, I was using my old iphone.

Look, just like WoA. Flies away with it’s landing gear down. :joy: :joy: :joy:

The gear was in the middle of being retracted, the giveaway is that the doors were open and the gear was in the middle of being tucked away.

I’ll give ya that, good catch. :+1:
