Real world Aviation (sharepoint)

An archive pics I found on an EI flight from LPA to DUB on 30/8/2018 (possibly I’ll need to check it).
I don’t know the registration but since it has the slim seats that don’t have the headrest it could be EI-EDP or EI-EDS and if it is EI-EDS that it will be the 2nd time I would take a ride with him in just over a year.

Cool runway thing on the escalator.

Always exciting when the aircraft gets posted on FR24. Will be checking frequently myself later on tonight to see what’s going to be operating LS829 tomorrow afternoon.

Went on FR24 quite late from what I can tell, checked at 11 and wasn’t on there.

Yeah they normally get loaded either really late at night or early the same morning. Occasionally you get them on before that like BA a couple of days before (not that it’s much use when they change the plane about 15 times in an hour). Seems to be airline and airport dependant onto when they load.

BA is almost never the one shown 2 days ago, first time on a MAX today and very excited to put it lightly.

Flown on a Ryanair Max last year and thought it was alright, noticeably quieter and the bigger windows are nice. Just a standard 800 for me!

IAE powered Titan A320 on the way back so will get a good idea of how quiet the MAX is.

Can’t go wrong with an IAE powered A320, I personally think that they beat the CFMs.

Personally by miles, out of ZTH with a short runway, high temperatures and a full load of grumpy passengers heading back to England, should be near TOGA.

Probably wouldn’t need TOGA with an RB211.

Giving a good night night to those who are in that time zone too.

Alaska switched my B739 for a B39M earlier this year. It was actually a pretty nice flight. Descended and landed through some showers and storms in LAX, but hardly any TURB. I have noticed 737s tend to be smoother flights than their Airbus equivalents.

Appears to be stand 16, should be able to see it from the lounge!
