Guessing a similar situation with the regular Lufthansa A388 and A359 flights from Leipzig into Prague that I’ve been trying to get added into the game (but the developers have some hard hard founded belief that L/X planes can’t fly short trips lol).

Managed to see Gormanston Airfield today, tho no aircraft in exercise and it’s abounded. But you can still see the ATC tower in the distance. (31/8/2024)

So found out the reason the Eithad A380 went into Gatwick was because the crew were out of hours, so new crew from LGW.

I flew on G-VIIO in 2014 the year before it caught fire in Las Vegas, but what was surprising is BA got Boeing to fix it so that it could carry on flying.

It was almost destroyed by the fire. Also how did they manage to repair it, would it be better to just scrap it?

I think it was just the hull. They still use the aircraft today. My dad flew it a few weeks ago and he didn’t have problems.
Clearly not as they got Boeing to fix it which seems the better option as you see it’s still busy out of its Gatwick hub.

Sadly there’s not a lot of traffic around here. Otherwise I would go spotting a day or so (my hotel is at the very top of the island so don’t really see planes pass by)

You have a rental car or something cause I parked at this side don’t know where exactly and managed to catch a few good ones.
Also found it my return flight was supposed to be an A321-200 which unfortunately got swapped the night before.

yep had a rental car and noticed we drove straight toward the runway, so we stopped for a bit. You can see my position on the flightradar image of the Tui plane. Where you took the pictures I considered asking to stop to catch the Smartwings land, but we already went past it too rip
