Realistic GRU flight schedules and traffic waves

I would love to discuss realistic traffic scheduling for GRU in World of Airports.

In real operations at São Paulo/Guarulhos, traffic usually comes in waves during the day and night, with strong international and domestic peaks.

Examples:

  • Early morning international arrivals;
  • Morning domestic departures;
  • Afternoon regional traffic;
  • Heavy evening international operations.

I believe realistic scheduling makes GRU much more immersive and challenging, especially when managing stands, terminals and wide-body aircraft.

How do other players organize realistic GRU schedules?

That’s one of the reasons why I enjoy GRU so much in WoA.

The airport feels much more alive when you try to recreate the real traffic waves and terminal operations throughout the day.

I heard that Flyboys Games has Salvador Airport available there.

I don’t know if Salvador Airport is among the second largest public airports after CNN or not, and also, is it a large or small airport?

SSA is an important airport in Brazil, especially for the Northeast region. It’s not on the same scale as GRU, but it still has heavy domestic traffic, some international flights and a very interesting coastal atmosphere. Operationally, it would probably fit very well as a mid-sized airport in games like WoA or Unmatched.

I agree with you.
