Regarding HKG Terminal 2: Current data indicates that upon T2’s official operation, it will house regional carriers such as Hong Kong Airlines (HX), HK Express (HO), and Greater Bay Area Airlines (HB). Most of these airlines primarily operate Category C aircraft like the B737 and A320 series. It is recommended to add combined parking bays like T1 area, such as Y3, Y3L, and Y3R. Particularly given Terminal 2’s exceptionally large scale and significant spacing between parking bays, the area appears overly sparse when accommodating Category C aircraft.
