It is faster too when it connects to a little plane than a plane taxiing ![]()

Maroon Air’s regular livery - a rare sight nowadays
And an AeroBlue A350 rocking the Flexi Alliance livery on its way to Prague
Nighttime at Santiago
AeroBlue A306 wearing the retro livery inbound from SXM
AeroBlue flight from Havana gets unloaded
A LAN 777 short before touchdown in the background
Flexi Alliance operations (with Alain Airlines smuggling in)
A part of the AeroBlue regional fleet
What a sweet family
Giants next to each other
DarkTech’s A21NY gets prepared for its flight to IAD
Some planespotting pictures from yesterday!
The days at Santiago are getting shorter again, which means that the natural lighting at the airport is way more suitable for taking pictures than it was two months ago since the position of the sun is not that high anymore.
The first flight to arrive in the afternoon was this DM Airlines Boeing 787 from Prague. In contrast to the Boeing 747 the company also uses on that route, shown airframe wears a sleek looking variation of DM Airlines regular livery.
What should I say?!? Blackbirds is finally back!! Making its first appearance since half a year ago, this beautiful Boeing 777 inbound from Washington faced a warm welcome at the airport.
Oldie but (blue-ish) goldie: With Pilster, the MD11 is luckily still going strong. Even though shown example only serves additional flights to the regular service to Washington it is far from being retired!
Way more modern is that Alain Airlines A321 Neo taxiing to its gate. Fortunately, the sky was pretty clear, so the rising moon could easily make an appearance in the background.
While this gorgeous Pilster Boeing 777 from Washington was slowly decelerating, a dougalsm Boeing 787 inbound from LHR is seen shortly before touching down on the parallel runway.
And another parallel landing! On their route to Sao Paulo, Svetlograd use a CRJ9 that is seen touching down in the foreground. In the background however, DarkTech is flying an A321 Neo from Washington into the airport.
They recently also updated their livery, that now consist of a slightly lighter blue than before. Since one narrowbody aircraft does not slightly compensate the high passenger demand for the Washington-route, several flights per day are operated by three Airbus A321 Neo. Two of them were sitting at the terminal waiting for the boarding process to begin.
One of the last flights to approach during daytime was this Pilster Boeing 747 from Sydney.
Thruii Airlines operates weekly flights to Washington. With the night closing in and the stars rising, one of their Boeing 777 gently touched down at Santiago. What an atmosphere!
With this scenic catch of a Thruii Airlines Airbus A330-200 rocking the Flexi alliance livery and the moon now high in the sky a successful spotting session slowly came to an end.
Have a great day/evening/whatever ^^
Really like the storytelling you do with these kinds of posts!
Thanks a lot ![]()
