@Berghamm how did you get a condor 767 at NGO?
Berlin, Bremen, Dresden, Hamburg, Hannover and Leipzig.
no Frankfurt⌠well alright⌠TIME TO GRIND AND NOT DO HOMEWORK FOR 6 HOURS (mislishus laugh) HAHAHAHA!!! (as you can tell i love condor⌠and dw i will do my homework⌠i thinkâŚ)
why didnt the airlines stay afloat? did they have bad business at the end or did they just get cut out cause the new competitors tickets were cheaper?
im no brit⌠but i think it was because of more low cost airline competition
The business model just lost customers and it ended up with mergers and losses along the way. These 4 donât paint the full picture of the UK charter holiday airline as there were lots more merging and outcompeting each other leaving just the 4 UK names above in 2008 (Plus MyTravel which he omitted
). MyTravel merged with Thomas Cook, Thomson and First Choice merged and left 3 with Monarch struggling to beat the big 2 leading to its collapse, and TCX having a host of different issues plus, I believe I read somewhere, an upper management which were a little dodge towards the end (Though Brexit was blamed because it was the easier solution compared to the rulers incompetence). And LCC competition didnât help with consumers moving away from the package holiday to booking their own hotel/airbnb/villa and their flights separately to cut down on costs. Also the move of some of the Northern European public away from beach holidays to city breaks which are better facilitated by LCCâs and legacy carriers.
Also, the UK government got a lot of flack for bailing out NatWest/RBS during the banking crash in 2009 and also when MG Rover collapsed in 2005 after multiple government injections, since then has been very reluctant to bail anything else out like Thomas Cook and FlyBe to name 2 examples. Then again theyâve been very unwilling to do much of anything but I wonât go into thatâŚ
Thanks for that detailed summary ![]()
Yea, as @Hirohitoswaifu mentioned. Mine was ordered contract from Hamburg.
Iâve only hit Lvl 16⌠but have one fleet plane! Btw nice photo!
@Gamer1 , your post in the competition is not really with the theme of the month. Itâs not cargo plaine, it is holiday airlines or low cost guys
LMAO @horsepowergeek tks for the heads up
Fighting my urge to tell Pizza the Corsair livery only emerged in 2004/2005 ![]()
Actually? OhhhâŚ
Still love the photo though, itâs a definite contender.
This is the Corsair late 1990s livery,
@Mr_Jangle no A330neo?
Itâs not even the new version, the Condor a332 was replaced by the neo
Uhhhhhhhhhh how? Just how? I thought it would be the most Easter-ish liveryâŚ
You know, putting thought into it, thereâs not enough freedom with the games camera system to do that prompt, scratch that, Iâm changing it
You could just ask for screenshots of aircraft that donât belong at an airport (such as easyjet at IAD)
We already did that like 2 months ago, I was looking more for screenshots that just werenât some pretty landscape or something something like the âyou got games on yo phoneâ meme
But again, camera is a bit restrictive for that so
