Waiiiit that completely shouldn’t count then… cause that’s not mild editing that’s a completely diff picture. I don’t think photos being edited like that should be acceptable

Well then judging by your logic the winning pic shouldn’t be allowed either as that’s not “midly” edited.

Honestly I think we should allow it for this month because @LeChonk took all that time to make it look good but starting next month its “mild editing” only if any.

Looking at what’s been said, given the fact that no rule regarding the matter was officially published anywhere here, and has only come to light after the image was submitted, is there actually any grounds to disqualify the image, and other possible entry’s to begin with?

Also not to mention the fact I’ve provided the free software I was using so that others could use it. I think personally editing should be allowed because it adds another layer of creativity to the competition

It’s called SCREENSHOT competition.
You click your two buttons on your phone, make the screenshot from the game… enter it.

This. I wouldn’t object if it were a picture comp or anything, but having anything more than very basic editing is no longer a screenshot. It’s a cool picture but a screenshot it most certainly is not

Ok, new rule as of now (because we can)… NO edited pictures of any description, straight screenshots from the game, that way it makes it fair for those who do not have editing software or a wish for it on their device.
It’s frankly a little ridiculous that we even have to have this discussion. This is not a pro photographer comp (like my dad has done before). If it’s not a an actual unedited screenshot from the game. It doesn’t count. Period.

Only editing allowed is cropping, no editing that affects the look of the screenshot is allowed, including lighting and contrast changes

Your edited photo is invalid per the now current rules, sorry. The unedited version is your submitted photo but you can resubmit another if you wish
