Who’s funding these dev’s? Everybody makes it sound as though the dev’s are some poor guys living hand to mouth.
Plenty of people. Myself included pay money for Gold Planes. Typically for games of this type. A small portion of the overall user base will “fund the devs”
At the end of the day, if nobody buys the gold planes. No revenue and therefore no game, it’s not about whether the devs are poor. Simple economics

Oh, so your saying the dev’s are entrepreneurs and not working a 9-5 job.
Obviously not because this game is their part-time hobby, but it’s always nice gesture to donate them a bit
After all, they didn’t force us into paying monthly subcription or watch a bunch of 30 seconds ads. Totally free.
A 10 dollars donation doesn’t hurt that much

Well, I thought I heard that Prague airport financed this WOA project you know they have some bank, but maybe they hit on hard times. I have to say a $10 app it’s not I don’t know of any app I would pay $10 dollars for, and as of right now all WOA is in fact is eye candy, and not a whole lot of substance. I guess WOA could be a sellable app with the implementation of the right stuff making the game more interesting and challenging. I think the best way for the dev’s to make money would be to implement airline advertising for all of the liveries used in the game.
Nope, they didn’t finance it, it was done through a kick starter (which they could have contributed to, but it’s before my time with the game). PRG have helped them get legal access to the liveries and other items within the game for sure and changes to PRG have sometimes been at the behest of the PRG airport team.
i’m not sure you can say there’s not a lot of substance there, there’s plenty to do and from what i understand, there’s a lot more coming that will make the game more flexible to play for both new and seasoned players. I for one am excited.

With Silver Planes now being released, I’m wondering if there will ever be a way to use just 1 SP or obtain just 1? Just got me thinking with the Christmas event giving us 111 SP.

I would hope that unlocking destinations would cost a low amount of Silver Planes (right now they are Gold Keys/Silver Keys that are getting phased out with Contracts)

That was my thoughts, routes/contracts. It was said on the feedback page that the Silver Planes would also replace unlock keys.
