Hi all,
Was playing Sydney and tried to add a Sichuan Airlines from Chengdu - wanted to go for the A333 for realism.
However, I noticed the A359 had a special panda livery I hadn’t seen before. If I weren’t more careful I would’ve missed this one altogether.
Are there any other airports or airlines with special liveries, outside of daily events?
The other instance that I can remember is the Boeing 787 of China Southern.
Every airports gets that special A359 panda from Sichuan
But technically you can get special perma livery contacts from the passes

Except for level, I am not aware of a contract with a special livery
The Sichuan A350 being in that livery is because all Sichuan A350 have a different livery
The exact aircraft in game is B-306N.
They used to have 2 aircraft in the standard livery, but they have been in special livery since Q1 2022

Overall it is just an anomaly. All the others standard contract are standard iirc
I think what he/she means is the livery that on a certain type of plane that is different from the carriers standard livery while it still not considered a very strict subcategory of special livery (as it applies to many/most or even all of the aircraft type) the case like that I knew is Sichuan Airlines A359 and China Southern B788/B789.
ANA A388 is also the case but you don’t have access to that in the game via normal contract.

oooh right thanks everyone. LeChonk I was thinking more outside of the passes as I’m trying to save my gold coins, but it seems like IAD has some interesting liveries so I might need to use my coins after all…

Don’t worry all the special livery airlines are on the free passes and not the premium ones

You can also get the SkyMarks Pokemon livery as a permanent contract at NGO, or at least you used to be able to. I kept mine, so it’s funny to see it also as an event sometimes.
I got this one also as permanent contract.
