:pushpin: Why should this airline be added?
Star Perú is a Peruvian airline that was initially founded in 1998 under the name “Star Up” but later renamed itself Star Perú.

It mainly operates domestic flights, but could have been active outside of Peru at the time…

With her 737-300 multitude, she could fly to the airports of Santiago SCL or Sint Maarten SXM

But overall it would be to see this airline in the game, especially because of its variety of paintwork, it would be a real eye-catcher :eyes:

Until I finally see my home country airline, it would be great if it were added even though they only use b737-300s right now. Greetings from San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima - Peru.

I did a fairly extensive redo of your photos section so the types and the snazzy special liveries can be viewed in the directory once we update our end for the specials. I’ve noticed a couple of the aircraft have the same Peru logo as Peruvian Airlines. Is that due to them operating for each other or is it just Peru’s tourism logo?

Star Perú AND Peruvian airlines They are different airlines.

They are yes, hence why they’re different suggestions. My question was regarding the Peru logo on the engine of the CRJ and fuselage of the BAe, being the same as the tail logo on Peruvian and why that was.

It seems to be part of the Peru Brand, an initiative by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru in partnership with Peruvian companies and startups to promote the products in Peru which Peruvian Airlines & Star Peru are a part of.

If you look closely, they’re not the same logo. Star Perú’s logo is a star with a circle, while Peruvian Airlines’ logo is the Peru brand logo. They took it with the permission of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tourism when a big campaign was launched to encourage people to visit my country, and the video was filmed in the United States. Enjoying Peruvian food, which is by the way the best in the world and winner of many awards worldwide. I am proud to be Peruvian, and that is the reason for that logo on the tail of the Peruvian Airlines plane.

I was wondering if that was the case. Cheers.
