:pushpin: Why should this livery be added?
The airline was formed in 1946, one of the oldest in Africa and since 2012 has been fully owned by the government. The aircraft is the only active one left in Sudan Airways fleet, currently stored in Hyderabad since the end of July this year. In July 2022, the other aircraft of the fleet a Fokker 50 was sold leaving ST-MKW as the only Sudan Airways plane left, conducting flights to Riyadh, Jeddah and around Sudan and neighbouring countries. They used to fly to MCT and other Middle Eastern and European nations but were banned from EU airspace in 2010 and due to US sanctions, the airline ceased for a period of time, prior to picking this aircraft up from Vueling in 2016.

A bit off wiki about plans in 2017 (Didn’t go ahead as the Sudanese ‘president’ not-dictator was ousted in 2019),

In 2017, it was announced that the Sudanese President Omar al Bashir signed several cooperation agreements with King Salman of Saudi Arabia during a visit to Riyadh. Among the agreements was a pledge from the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation to restructure SAR22.5 million riyals (US$6 million) worth of debt. In addition, provisions for fleet renewal at Sudan Airways were also made. It was reported Saudi Arabia may equip the Sudan Airways with fourteen aircraft including three B777s, three A320-200s, six Embraer Regional Jets, and two A330-200s.

Since the small dispute kicked off in the country in June 2023, the aircraft has been somewhere but managed to remain airworthy and fly to India for storage in 2025, unlike the majority of planes in Khartoum.

Would add an aircraft currently in service to Sudan’ Airways fleet as currently they only have the Comet.
