Sorry, I forgot to take the ruler with me, but you’re right. I didn’t consider the stand sizes.
Yes. If you read the paragraph it mentions the word backtrack. I thought it was referring to wind change therefore planes will switch opposite end of the runway. . In this new airport coming out, I really don’t know what’s so different from the rest of the airports.
Can anyone clarify this meaning of backtrack?
There is no exit at the end of the runway so larger aircraft will have to turn at the end and backtrack down the runway to taxi to the terminal
It’s pretty much what Ataft said. I’d also like to add an example that is already in the game: INN. All planes currently backtrack to the start of the runway to take-off. For SXM it’s pretty much the same but for landing aircraft instead.
On Flightradar24 also saw planes taxiing to the end of runway 10, turned there and departed from there.
Could be because of environmental reasons, or the fact there is a mountain directly in the path of rwy 10 and larger planes may have trouble with gaining sufficient height.
Its because of the wind direction. Departure path is sufficient to the east for large aircraft.
Will the American 747 be replaced? With the 747-400 now being modelled, it make sense replace it with United or Delta.
May I also put forward the suggestion of Corsair for the 744, they use to send them to SXM as well.
Will be replaced
And Corsair is planned to be painted.
So my 747 will be a 744?
I hope she still in here
Also is the 744F planned too?
Can I ask if these planes to be released will be added to all routes? Like MCT - IAD, IAD - LEJ, IAD -NGO.
Not in next update.
