A lot of cargo route options are missing. It would be nice if they could be added in a future update. Overall great airport!
That makes sense tbh as they can do it for Leipzig as thatâs basically two airports side by side and the taxing doesnât interfere in any other runways operations, but it wouldnât work at places like LHR, SYD and IAD.
Is their few using the Qantas A321F in Australia and New Zealand?
Yes there is with Qantas Freight but internationally there are very few options compared to irl
Patience, they always come out with more later. They canât release everything at once. Some of the missing pieces will be added over time
hey guys, does anybody know if the devs will allow X and L to land on the current 16L because that runway does allow XLMS for arrivals and departures, and yes i also think they should add a X and L terminal spot in the domestic spot. They should also allow cross runways so we can decide which runway the planes should go to!!!
anybody wanna let me know where most of the airlines park in sydney, i like to put certian airlines in their desginated terminals
T1 is International so all overseas flights go there
T2 and T3 are Domestic, Qantas and QLink are on T3, the rest go to T2.
Indeed fantastic work bringing SYD to life, especially loving the speed and rate at which arrivals land!
Just small tweaks needed to make it a more realistic experience and clarifying a few points as someone who works at the airport.
A few stands do need upsizing as they currently are undersized vs their real world equivalent.
D1, D8, D9, D44, D52, D54, D56 are all M sized capable
D10, D11, D12 and D45 are all L capable with D4 even officially able to go up to an A332 sized aircraft
D18, and D19 are missing S stands
D13 or 14 are also missing leaving T3 3 stands short
I would also love to see 16L used for landing for the domestic side of the airport and the addition of stands 83-85 just west of the 16R threshold to be used as cargo stands
For those wanting realistic stand allocations:
Jetstar mostly use the western finger on T2, with Virgin on the eastern finger, and REX using whatâs left on both
Qantas uses D1-D12 in T3 with QantasLink jets using D1, D8, D9, D12, and D13 if they add it, and QantasLink Dash 8âs using D64-D70, D16, D17, and D18, D19 if thatâs added later too
Over on INTL any gate can be used but youâll generally see Qantas and friends on gates 8-37 with rest over on the triangular western side

I find it strange that I get A388 offers for AI contracts (SYD-IAD), and that a player airplane canât support it.
yes, from IAD only A35K can reach SYD. You have to set first class 20 (max.) and Business 0 (zero). From MCT and NGO other kind of planes possibleâŚ
A359 is also possible with 10 business and 13 first I believe
Iâm pretty happy with the airport except
Gate 10 and 11 in the Qantas terminal should be able to handle wide bodies because the airline uses the A330 to Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane & Cairns sometimes. Gate 52, 54 and 56 in terminal 2 should be able to handle narrow bodies.
What you say is true only if:
A- You saturate your airport with contracts
B- You constantly land planes
A seasoned WoA player could balance departures and arrivals

i agree to 100%! I hope this will be changed/improved in one of the next updates. I also wonder why s planes take the same exit to the national terminal as M, especially since there would be a possibility to leave the runway a few exits beforehand.
I have already mentioned here that optimized runway programming would be desirable. This update marks the second time a related deterioration has been introduced in MCT. Why does now L planes use the same exit like X planes, also if there would exist a beforehand exit, which was used until before this update. I cannot unterstand.
And itâs a shame, weâre getting a big airport that we can only operate a little better like NGO.

I didnât really care in the beginning. If it was included good, if not also alright. But after seeing these shots itâs very nice that they included it.
Isnât that right? In reality, Heathrow Airport can take off and land on both runways.
